Speaking of Austin/Pillman On the Superstars episode where Austin whacked Pillman with the cane. A piece flew right into my lap and I still have it.

That WAS cutting edge T.V back in 96 when Pillman pulled out a gun with Austin tried to break in his house.

you're shittin me? That's awesome. Pillman was a guy that was wayyyy ahead of his time. He knew wrestling was changing before wrestling even knew and thus began his Loose Cannon character. So smart to the business.

I live near Cincy, Pillman was a God in Cincy since thats where hes from. The crowd was ticked when Austin attacked him. Not only did I get a piece of the cane, but HBK let me hold the World Title and Sid help up my sign on the superstars episode. (I still have that as well) and the show is also famous for the split of the Smoking Gunns.

I heard that Vince had wanted an Austin/Pillman feud over the World Title in 98.

Yea, I heard that too. Or at least Pillman going for the Title in like 96/97. But Pillman was limited to what he could do in the ring as far as wrestling and he also had a lot of problems with health. Promo wise, he could do anything.
