Speaking of Austin/Pillman On the Superstars episode where Austin whacked Pillman with the cane. A piece flew right into my lap and I still have it.
That WAS cutting edge T.V back in 96 when Pillman pulled out a gun with Austin tried to break in his house. |

you're shittin me? That's awesome. Pillman was a guy that was wayyyy ahead of his time. He knew wrestling was changing before wrestling even knew and thus began his Loose Cannon character. So smart to the business.

I heard that Vince had wanted an Austin/Pillman feud over the World Title in 98.

Yea, I heard that too. Or at least Pillman going for the Title in like 96/97. But Pillman was limited to what he could do in the ring as far as wrestling and he also had a lot of problems with health. Promo wise, he could do anything.
