Mogo
mitchables
10-03-2006, 01:31 AM
Lara wins. It was Mogo.
Also, Lock Jaw, only one of the first four clues was broad/general, which was the first one.
Not terribly many characters in the DCU have been prophesied about AND have been members of a law enforcement organisation. Mogo was prophesied as being the last of the Green Lanterns, before being killed by the Sentient City. "Mogo Doesn't Socialise" was the name of the first arc he was introduced in - that's pretty specific too, even though I didn't hint that it was anything more than just a straight clue. Finally, he is the biggest member on the force - that's not broad, that's downright specific. Don't be bitter because you don't know your Green Lanterns :p
Lara's go.

Magma is a mutant with a variety of powers. These include:
Geokinesis: can psionically control the movement of the tectonic plates within the Earth's crust within limited areas, most likely no more than a radius of a few city blocks. Within this area she can create small but powerful earthquakes by psionically affecting the Earth's crust.
Pyrokinesis: can create flames and project blasts of heat that do not contain any molten rock. However, she apparently prefers to fire magma blasts rather than simple heat blasts, perhaps because the magma blasts have a solid impact that can knock down a target. The highest level of heat that Magma can generate is not yet known, but it is believed that she can reach at least 850 °Fahrenheit.

It was Doppelganger.
Clue #1: Villian: Alright
Clue #2: I'm a really nasty version of someone: The picture explains it.
Clue #3: I appeared in a video game: Spider-Man: Maximum Carnage (or was it Seperation Anxiety?) for the Sega Genesis. He was pretty much your first "major" boss.
Clue #4: See yourself............: A doppelgänger is the ghostly double of a living person. The word doppelgänger is a loanword (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loanword) from German (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German_language), written there (as any noun) with an initial capital letter Doppelgänger, composed from doppel, meaning "double", and gänger, as "walker". In English (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/English_%28language%29), the word is conventionally not capitalized, and it is also common to drop the German diacritic (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diacritic) umlaut (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Umlaut_%28diacritic%29) on the letter "a" and write "doppelganger", although the correct spelling without umlaut would be "doppelgaenger".
The term has, in the vernacular (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vernacular), come to refer to any double or look-alike (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Look-alike) of a person, most commonly in reference to a so-called evil twin (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Evil_twin), or to bilocation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilocation). Alternatively, the word is used to describe a phenomenon where you catch your own image out of the corner of your eye. In some traditions, seeing one's own doppelgänger is an omen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omen) of death (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death). A doppelgänger seen by friends or relatives of a person may sometimes bring bad luck, or indicate an approaching illness or health problem. From wikipedia.org

Yeah I would Kitty Pride but I can recall her being possessed by a demon in the normal 616 comics. She could have been when she was first part of the x-men since the majoirty of those stories at the time where centered around demons and aliens.
Ill say Marvel Girl (Rachel Summers) just in case it isnt Kitty because she is the one of the most well known long running characters that didnt appear in the TAS.

Kitty is the right answer, see I told you the first clue was kinda of a trick, some call Ogun a demon, others don't. I said fuck it and ran with it.
Kitty becoems President in X-men: The End
