Interesting offer I just received

I get:
Andruw Jones
Homer Bailey

I give up:
Jamie Shields
Octavio Dotel

Even though Shields has had 2 bad games recently, I still think he's gonna have a stellar season. Dotel I really don't care too much about because I think he'll eventually get hurt again or blow it as the Royals closer, not to mention the Royals don't get too many saves anyway. Bailey hasn't proven himself yet, but he's better than a vast majority of SP already.

Basically I'm getting a 2nd round draft pick who's having a terrible season so far and a rookie protege for two players I picked up off waivers.

As posted on the roto message board:

I have a plethora of 1st baseman and outfielders, I could use a pitcher. I'm looking to deal Helton, Cuddyer or Pence. I'll listen to offers for Adrian Gonzalez or Corey Hart as well.

Finally back in first in the roto league. Just gotta hold on now for the last 12 weeks of the season.

Seriously though a big thank you to whoever dropped Chone Figgins and Brad Hawpe. This couldn't have been possible without you.

dropping Chone (in the h2h) wa a huge mistake, BUT Gooner (or ct2k) picked him up and then dropped him whilst he was heating up. I was lucky to get him back. Yup. Say what you want but Figgins gets the #'s.

you are welcome about Hawpe. :'(

Oh. Another guy that's been doing very well, Shane Victorino (OF) well, I'm actually looking to move him. I have BJ Upton coming off the DL soon and well I like his inf. ability.
Victorino is putting up real nice #'s. He's like a Sizemore. He ain't Sizemore, but comparable #'s

PS

I looked it up, I dropped Figgins in the Roto league too...

In my defence I dropped him to pick up Cano...

Yeah, some fuckarse got Victorino about an hour before I was gointa pick him up

The same arsehole that won't give me Sizemore, I believe.

YOUR Hero
06-25-2007, 11:16 AM
so are you interested in Victorino?

I'll make or you make a trade dealie.

Sizemore is like one of my favourite players, so I got a real affinity for him. However if you offer up the right thing, I'd move him in lieu of Victorino.

pretty happy rite now with my team... just sayin.

I have to get out of here for work, but look it over. Um.. first thing that comes to mind if a swap of SS's and then maybe a pitcher (Lowe??) for Victorino.

As for Sizemore, I dunno... kinda now thinking against moving him :/

Anyway I'll think about it tonight after work.

Corey Hart is the man.

Don't switch the blade on the guy in the shades

Anyway, still need some pitching.

I gave you Hanley Ramirez, who you've been lusting after all year.

Just remember that next time the thought of banning Wee Gooner crosses your mind ;)

Hanley replaces Sizemore in runs and steals. Should get more steals, loose HR's

MVP
07-05-2007, 01:01 PM
I would have J.J. Putz be the 1st reliever and Takashi Saito as the 2nd, and maybe Ichiro instead of Sheffield in OF.

I always enjoy at the end of the season going back and looking at the draft and checking out some of the late round steals people got

In the roto league:

Round 21 Pick 2: Curtis Granderson by Busch's Bats
Round 20 Pick 10: Eric Byrnes by New Ro Cannons
Round 20 Pick 3: Joe Blanton by Black SOX
Round 19 Pick 9: Brandon Phillips by AZ D'Bags
Round 19 Pick 4: BJ Upton by Candy & Currant Buns
Round 19 Pick 3: Tim Hudson by New Ro Cannons
Round 18 Pick 7: Brad Penny by NerF's Revenge
Round 17 Pick 7: Kelvim Escobar by Böston Crüe
Round 17 Pick 2: Russell Martin by Busch's Bats
