PHILADELPHIA – John Cena’ shocking return – and even more stunning win – at the Royal Rumble Match Sunday night left our fans and other Superstars reeling. The former WWE Champion was the last person anyone had expected to see.

When Randy Orton helped put Cena out with a torn pectoral tendon in late September and effectively ended his WWE Championship reign, doctors predicted that he would be out for up to a year. Now, just four months later, he's back and has earned an opportunity at a World Championship at WrestleMania in Orlando, Fla. What does Cena have to say about his return and Rumble win? He will kick off Raw tonight, when it emanates from the City of Brotherly Love, Philadelphia.

Cena's victory Sunday night defied the expectations of doctors and all doubters. He looked into the eyes of his final opponents in the Rumble, Triple H and Batista, and said, "Come and get some." I have no problem with Cena. I think he is an underrated wrestler and undervalued by the IWC for his tireless contributions to the business over the last couple years.

The problem I have is with the inane, dire scripted material WWE keeps providing him with, and his helplessly obnoxious delivery of said obnoxious material.

The problem doesn't lie with Cena, it lies with the writers. Cena (as in, John Cena the on-screen character) is the physical embodiment of their shitty material, therefore he is the messenger to be shot.
