Good point on the bane situation, although I think he would make a good addition. Maybe, that morph guy? a changeling would be good to have on a new system since they fuckin took it out of Tsung's moves for some asshole reason.

Does the animation have to be so... :n:? This is my problem with the MK series sense Deception: the animation, particularly recovery animations, is lazy. Lazy, lazy LAZY. If you don't wanna be like the Tekkens and Virtua Fighters that's fine, but that's not an excuse to release sub-par animation. They have had alot of years to improve in this area and year after year they drop the ball. Look at the stances... Are you serious Midway? Not one of those stances are combat accurate, and on top of that many characters share the same stance. I wonder if Ed Boon wants MK to be taken seriously as a fighter. If not, it'll explain alot. But I would get MK an engine revision. All the special moves and violence and juggles could stay, but I would not let a 10 year old animation style pass, I have too much respect for myself for my name to be credited on a game with that kind of movement.

Give me a good time, whether it be from challenging puzzles, fun worlds to explore, or just some heads to bash in. Make it fun and you've made me happy.

Apparently this is one part DC wanting to not "tarnish" their characters too much in this version, as well as Midway wanting to actually sell some copies, as the series has become rather disappointing in terms of sales in recent years and this is basically boiling down to a publicity stunt to move as many games as possible.

MK in general gets old really fast, but a cheap thrill it is. I won't be paying $60 for it, though - and shame on whoever does. Midway hasn't produced anything worth $60 yet.

There's no balance, matches range from stupidly easy to cheap as hell, the bonus for getting the first hit is too large, it's glitchy as fuck, Breakers are pointless and on the hardest skill level the final boss was defeated with one button...

No it doesn't. It is not strange that the country where 8 year olds are killing themselves with uzis at carnivals should start taking steps to censor gun use in popular media. I am not a "the video game made me do it" kind of person by any stretch of the imagination, but if there's any country on the planet where it might be justified to do that sort of thing, it would be America. In fact you could say it's almost the 100% opposite of "strange".
