It won't be longer than a month before one is moved
I think this all worked out pretty good for the WWE. The main interest/story of Raw is 'who did it/why did it happen' to Vince, and the main interest in Smackdown is the fact that they have the two most prestigous championships in the business.

Actually enjoyed this PPV. First one I've ordered in a while. The ECW match was kinda blah but that was expected. Kofi winning was sweet, since he's from my home town. I wasn't bored by the match at all.
Both belts staying on Smackdown actually makes me interested in Smackdown now which is a good thing. Obviously one will goto RAW but for now I am going to DVR Smackdown for the first time in years.
Pretty good PPV.
Wow, Mark Henry is your new ECW World Heavyweight Champion. So Raw has no major Heavyweight title except for the Intercontinental title. Looks like we have some trouble in paradise.

Punk's not getting the title, keep dreaming.
I don't know where I read it or who's idea it was (I think it was here somewhere) but Punk cashing in his title shot and Triple H/Edge stepping out of the ring and getting counted out straight away would be the funniest thing WWE has ever done

What's worse is that "Cody" and "Ted" are pretty much stereotypical gay names.
We currently have the best set of tag champs (World & WWE) in a LONG time.
High time, Miz and Morrison make it big time by winning the World Titles...I am talking about the Tag Team belts of-course.

My thoughts on NOC:
- A part of me was hoping that Finlay and Hornswaggle would win the tag titles just to see what the WWE would do with something like that. It was pretty cool to see Hornswaggle do those wresting moves instead of the joke stuff. It felt like the WWE was pushing him a little as a serious wrestler who could hang with the big guys somewhat. However, the retainship could pave the way for a true drop to someone that is pure SD when the RAW/ECW merger happens...someday.
-Technically, Matt Hardy is also on SD because the SD/ECW merger is continuing for now, so Hardy keeping the US title makes sense for now. Not sure when he'll drop it, but I don't know if they should until they are ready to have SD go solo. The match was somewhat forgettable.
- The ECW title match was better than I thought it would be. It reminded me somewhat of the Angle/Lesner/Show match at Vengeance 03 (where the Big Show was going to do something from the top rope THERE, too). Henry did a good job at being enthused at winning the title (gives the title some cred it really needs by having someone to be that excited at winning it). A Show/Henry one on one match at the Bash could be in the works here. Also, Adamle/Tazz were good tonight (better than it was last week), with the usual banter between two announcers going on, especially when Adamle called the broadcast position "the announce thing" (and then him pulling a Tazz and explaining himself out of the mistake as a non-mistake, something Tazz has done ALOT of), which was surprisingly the only real mistake made tonight by him (the commentating botch of the night happened later). Personally, and intentional or not, this announce team is getting somewhat over. Plus, the selling of Henry's win being a huge title change (the "return to glory" comment when Henry was showing all the announcers that he was the champ now) was perfect to add some cred for that title. That was a match that some might have not seen as exciting, but it added some much needed cred for the ECW Title. The Kane bump looked like it hurt (and this was one of the many injuries that happened tonight), though I hope he's alright after that. He seemed to be good to go. The drop was necessary, but that belt gained cred tonight just because of the selling of how important that victory was.
- The JBL promo = GOLD! They need to get this guy back into the main event. This guy is just a plain natural heel that does everything he can to make people hate him. Yeah, he could be a face in the future, but he is one of the best promo-talkers in the WWE.
- About that IC title match: The "boring" chants didn't seem numerous, but whatever group was doing that in the crowd was loud and knew how to get noticed (and they were chanting boring for two or so matches after that). Kofi is growing on me, and I am happy that they are giving him the title, but I worry that it could be too soon for the guy. The Shawn overselling of the eye injury, even though I expect that from Shawn all the time, is getting annoying. Note to Shawn: You're supposed to act like you have an eye injury, not act like you're going into constant seizures everytime someone touches that eye. Jericho is coming off as a good heel, though I don't know how long this will last because he's not getting as much heel heat as a heel should (maybe because of who he's having a feud with. Some people just plain HATE HBK still). I felt he was getting more of that after that hit to Shawn, though I don't know if he will get too much more. He really needs to do something more "disgusting" than what he's doing right now.
- The World tag title thing was too predictable. We knew what was coming as soon as DiBiase said something about the text stuff. I liked the guy's music, though. It played off as weird as to how to announce that decision, but it's not like anyone didn't know it was going to happen. Also, did anyone else catch Adamle's expression as Cody was announcing himself the victor? As if he really hated the guy for what he did. Then again, Cody got some instant heel heat from the crowd, too, so something tells me he'll be able to just do what he did there and play the natural heel perfectly.
- The Women's match was not bad. Good, technical style wresting. Didn't know if I really wanted Mickie to win, though. And I don't know if putting that belt on Katie would've been too soon.
- The Divas title match SHOULD'VE been tonight, because I really want to see Natalya and McCool go at it. I am really enjoying those matches that they are in when those two are in the ring with each other, and I think that is the match the WWE should put up for that title.
- The WHC title match: One word to describe the ending: CLUSTERFUCK!! The Batista slam on Vickie was sweet, though I was expecting an Edge drop tonight. Something tells me the WHC is still the title they are going to be migrating to RAW because it technically wasn't a clean finish. Also, the announcing botch of the night came here: When Batista was slid into, he went across not the SD announce table (as JR somehow managed to think then say), but the ECW announce table (which would've been visible to ANYONE because, umm, it was Tazz and Adamle that had to run out of dodge of Batista, not JR and Mick that were on the OTHER SIDE OF THE ANNOUNCER HOLE THERE). Worst thing is that he didn't even realize he made that error, even when Foley correctly named the table Batista slid across (that bump looked like it had to hurt, by the way). Plus, did JR completely forget about that bump Batista had last week? Batista was clearly selling the injury, yet I didn't hear JR mention it once (I was doing my own commentary for some reason, so I didn't hear all that commentary). Wow, is THAT why he's on SD now? Overall, though, pretty solid match with a clusterfuck ending that screams for something else to happen about it (was waiting for something else to happen with a decision, but it never happened).
-Triple H/Cena was as solid as it could be. Cena was doing the same 4-5 moves all throughout the match, with the second half of a match having Cena actually acting like a WRESTLER instead of a one-trick pony. There were some sweet counters there, though I'm now confused as to which title is going to RAW because Triple H retained (and thus, I was also waiting for a CM Punk cash in, but THAT never happened, either). With the Undertaker coming back soon and the title situation in a bit of limbo, I'm interested to see where the WWE is going with this.
An overall solid PPV, as much as you could with the card that was given. Most of what happened made sense to the direction they wanted to go. This was the first time we heard the Cole/King combo since the draft happened, too, and it sounded like they meshed together well, too (what's going on here? ALL THREE commentating teams were good tonight and sold the matches well).
MY WINNERS:
HORNSWAGGLE: Seriously, sell him as a midget that is underestimated and you're gold.
MARK HENRY: Seriously, also. He really gave good cred to the ECW Title tonight by his reactions to winning it. Also looks like he's becoming more of a tweener.
ECW TITLE BELT: See above. Also the way Adamle/Tazz sold the importance of the victory was good.
JBL: He just came off as someone you WANT to hate tonight, and he didn't even have to wrestle. GET HIM BACK INTO THE TITLE PICTURE, WWE!!
CM PUNK: By that promo tonight, I think they're ready for him to do something with that MITB real soon, so he's in here because of that.
EDGE: Wow...awesome heel heat. All he has to do is be in the ring and not even DO anything and they hate him. The loud booing was so loud and so hateful I was expecting for a riot to begin. Probably one of the best heel champs in a WHILE (I don't think even JBL had THIS much heat when he was champ). That would scare me to have my character hated THAT much if I was him. How he is able to keep his cool despite that is beyond me.
COLE/KING: Wow...they seemed to really do well and become the best team of the night (not saying much as all three commentating teams were on their game tonight), but it seems like Cole will do fine on RAW, and the King, for once, wasn't trying to bury Cole in JR's legacy.
TRIPLE H: With the title (assuming I'm right and they move the WHC title to RAW), he's got alot of possible feuds on SD ahead of him (one being with Edge). If anyone makes SD the A show, it'll be him and the feuds he can do there.
FOLEY: HE KNOWS HIS SHIT!! Jesus, he's, like, this walking encyclopedia of wrestling.
CODY RHODES: INSTANT HEEL HEAT!! Give him time and watch him get the heat.
MIDDLE OF THE ROAD:
DIBIASE: His music was gold. Unfortunately, we didn't see how this guy can wrestle yet, which this match should've featured more of.
JR: Yeah, he was solid tonight (first time I've said that in a while about him), and it seems like the best thing to happen to him WAS the move to SD (new scenery and some fresh faces to comment on and call, and Mick really seems to play off of JR well). However, the botch about what table Batista flew over couldn't have been ignored because it was too visible that it wasn't the table JR told us it was. Little nit-picking, I know, but that was just too big of a mistake, and the Batista head-collision that he and Edge had should've been mentioned (was it, because I'm not sure if it was. I never heard it).
CHAVO: Good, solid performance, but nothing too special.
JERICHO: Is a good and solid wrestler, but for some reason the fans aren't giving him the heel heat that he should be getting by now. Needs to do something else that the fans will REALLY hate him for, because some fans do not like Shawn.
ADAMLE/TAZZ: Yeah, I'll get called a mark for this, but I didn't hear any mistakes tonight from Adamle (good for him), and it seemed like he knew what was going on and kept the flow going on the table. The two played off each other too well, and that whole "announcing thing" sequence was gold (more of stuff like THAT, please). That and they helped in giving the ECW title cred tonight. Only reason they aren't in the winners tonight: Some people won't think this way, and because Cole/Lawler DEFINITELY outcommentated them tonight (Cole/King outdid JR tonight. Foley, not so much).
LOSERS:
HBK: God, stop overselling EVERYTHING. Seriously, an eye injury sends you into epileptic FITS?
JOHN CENA: He showed his staleness tonight. The one-trick pony was definitely exposed tonight, and if this does not show that SOMETHING has to change with him, NOTHING will.
DIVAS TITLE: Rather, the WWE's failure to see that it has it's match for this thing with McCool/Natalya and do this thing tonight. Why do I have a feeling the WWE will screw this up somehow?
Those are just my thoughts. Agree or disagree how you want, but that's what I thought.

So everyone should stop booing Cena? The boos are in retaliation to the man's act, and the little kids and women who buy into it. The boos, by default, are attached to the act.
The whole Divas championship should be scrapped. They need to being back the Cruiserweight title.

To be honest, I agree that the Divas Championship should be scrapped. Natayla, Victoria, Michelle McCool and possibly Cherry should have been moved to RAW. They are the only capable women on the SmackDown! roster. They get added to a pre-existing RAW Women's Division of Mickie James, Beth Phoenix, Katie Lea Burchill, Melina, Jillian Hall and Candice Michelle. Wow, now you actually have more than four women making up a "division."
As for the Cruiserweight Title, despite being a fan of the cruisers, I'd rather see it stay retired, and cruiserweights inserted into more credible roles. For example, Kofi Kingston, Jamie Noble and Paul London hovering around the IC Title, and Jimmy Wang Yang & Shannon Moore as WWE Tag Team Champions.
I wouldn't mind seeing some sort of annual "Cruiserweight Cup," though.

I agree with most of your views, Noid, but I have to disagree with this one for one reason: From that point, you risk the RAW women's division becoming too crowded (all those names on that roster make it seem crowded already, and remember that you also have Maria who moved to SD who, although green, is one the WWE is fixated on using and is quickly learning) and, the way the WWE has one womens match per show it seems, you're going to have some talented females being angry that they cannot get any TV time because the division is so overcrowded with talent that all deserve to be reconized somehow, which would lead to politicking and all of that, which isn't needed in the women's division. I personally think, because of that, that the SD Divas championship is a good idea to have as long as you have the right women to carry the title and the right feuds to increase the crediabiliy of the title.
This is one of the reasons I want to see a McCool/Natalya match for it. McCool has really been impressing me with how passionate she seems to be about doing well, and she and Natalya seem to work well (and McCool and that bad of a wrestler in her own right, either). I think this is the match the WWE wants to do for the title (unless they fuck it up somehow). That match could be given some time at a PPV (maybe the Bash) and let Natalya use some moves from the Hart Dungeon and make it a technical style match. Make it so that the women really want to get this title. That's how you make the Divas title interesting, IMO.

My review.
Trips winning last night made the PPV. It now opens up a whole new story on how RAW is going to get a title back. Really interested on how they do this in the next few weeks.
Glad Edge won. Couldn't picture Dancing Dave with the W.H.T. on RAW. Let alone him get another run with it so soon. Now he can do something else without him pressing up, down, X, Y, X at the writers meeting after each PPV.
Well I thought Katie Lea was gonna win with Capt. Burchill running interference or something, instead he stood there like a statue and did nothing. Mickie wins. Time to throw Layla into the mix.
Matt Hardy vs. Chavo. ECW gets another belt. Wow. Let's see how long this lasts.
Mizark vs. Big Show vs. Kane. Kane going to RAW and Mark Henry going to ECW was a dead giveaway, wasn't it?
Jericho vs. Kofi Kingston. Talk about coming out of left field. I'll give credit to the tipsters crew for putting him in the match. But him winning I did not see coming. Either Vince or somebody in back is very high on him, or I don't think this is gonna last long. I would have thrown HBK in the match, but I don't think he'd like IC title run.
TDJ/Cody vs. CAWdy/Hardcore Holly. Most of us knew how this was gonna turn out. CAWdy turned heel. New ring attire unlocked and 5,000 WWE cash earned. Only thing that was kinda lame was TDJ's theme.
Miz & Morrison vs. Finlay and Hornswaggle. M&M won and that's all that mattered to me. Somebody run 'Swog out of the company.

Random thoughts
-HHH....LAY OFF THE TANNING
-I thought there was a chance Punk would cash it in after the whole Edge & his merry men vs. Batista finish, but Edge still has the title so its all good.
-I like Kofi winning as the upset. I also marked like a bitch for the Liontamer
-I think they could build up a good Punk storyline at Summerslam, they can play it off like this is RAW's only chance to get a World Title back, with everyone on the brand pulling for him. Have him get some top wins over the RAW guys before facing Edge or HHH...hell have him tell Edge at his wedding that he has until Summerslam.
