First, the new melee combat options. We saw the chainsaw teased in the trailer, but players will also be able to wield a frying pan, axe, baseball bat, and additional blunt-force objects. Valve has also detailed the new AI Director 2.0, which will not only affect how many of the undead you'll be tackling at any given time, but will also dictate weather effects, world objects, and pathways provided to the players.

Left 4 Dead 2 is scheduled for release on November 17 on Xbox 360 and PC, with new co-op campaigns, Versus campaigns and Survival maps.

A Konami game about weather elements ... Could it be?! No, it's not Kojima's new game. Konami has announced (during Microsoft's keynote, mind you) a new game for Wii, Xbox 360 and PS3: Zephyr: Rise of the Elementals. In it, you'll control a tornado that grows in a Katamari-esque path of destruction.

With flying cows (pictured above), we can expect Zephyr won't take itself too seriously. The sandbox environments will range from farms to cities. Two players will be able to team up, each with their own tornadoes. This is the first game to come from Loose Cannon Studios (http://www.joystiq.com/2009/05/13/loose-cannon-studios-assembled-shooting-to-announce-titles-at-e/), the new team made up of former Sucker Punch veterans. Expect impressions and an interview with the developers later this week.

Sony have to drop a big announcement. PSP Go is going to be a let down for PSP owners who like to upgrade (I know a couple of people who have had all 3 models) as they can't use their UMDs.
