Looks like a few good games, wish Miami was playing Ohio State again though  I think that would be a good game.

FSU vs Miami AGAIN is dumb, they are playing 3 times in 11 months when they play again to open the season next year.

Boston College is taking on Colorado State...Hopefully they can pull it out and defeat Mullet Boy Bradley Van Pelt.

can someone explain to me why a team that doesn't win their own conference gets to play in the national championship, and why the #1 team in the country doesn't?

I DUNNO

I mean, Oklahoma and USC both had one leauge loss

USC lost to Cal

Oklahoma lost to Kansas St

Oklahoma loss just happened to be in the Big 12 Championship game, while USCs was earlier on in the season.

Kansas St is a top 10 team, and Cal isn't even ranked. Also Oklahoma defeated more top 25 teams then USC did. Big 12 = Stronger then Pac 10 aswell.

I think people are also forgetting the whooping Oklahoma laid on Texas, you know, like the #6 team in the country? Oklahoma played like shit againest K State, and Kansas State played awesome. I think if Roberson didnt get hurt earlier on in the season Kansas State would be in the National Title picture.

That all being said, Oklahoma not even winning their own conference and having a chance to win the National Title is a ****ed up.

If USC got in, I wouldn't have been pissed, I think Okla, USC, and LSU all deserved to be in the game. But only 2 teams can be in it.

Sure, Cal was unranked, but wasn't that an overtime game? I'd rather pick the team whose one loss (to a bad team) went down to the wire than the team who got absolutely thumped (by a good team).

I agree with what stima said. They all deserve it, but it just irks a lot of people that OU can play for it when they aren't the best team in their conference. I said earlier that if Roberson wouldnt have got injured, they would definately be in the National Title picture.

It's all ****ed up. One team wasn't going to get fair treatment, and it just happened to be USC.

I have the utmost respect for Saban and Caroll (sp?). They handled the situation with some class. The OU coach that spoke on it (wasn't stoops, cant remember his name somebody help me out...it was in the other thread at the old boards) said they deserved to be in it no matter what which I feel like is bullshit. I mean OU lost and they STAYED at #1.

It's all messed up though. Watch OU now win and piss me off.

I hope somebody pulls him down by the mullet

Who is winning the Heisman? I'm thinking Chris Perry.

I thought it was going to be White, but with that loss to K State I dunno.

Another whole thing about the BCS or whatever, if USC wins, they get a share of the title. So its not ALL bad atleast. Im hoping Michigan beats them though.

From what I've heard, White is still going to win the Heisman. Apparently, a lot of voters mailed in their choice before the Big 12 Championship Game.

College basketball >>>>> College football.

I hope USC and LSU/Oklahoma share the national championship. How ridiculous is it when there is no true national champ.

I'd agree that USC should get a split, but since it's against my team, I hope they don't get it.

The kicker in this entire thing is at the beginning of the season Kansas State beat California at the beginning of the season.
