Definitely not surprising, they clearly had nothing for the guy. I could see him getting decent work elsewhere though solely due to being Snuka's son.
File this this under "It was bound to happen"
well clearly the element of surprise is not present in these release....

Best of luck, Sim.:wavesad:
P.S.--If Manu is not gone yet, I would say sharpen your axe for him, if you haven't already, Theddy.
Also, has anyone ever been to "the other side of the tracks", and if so, is it anything like 1885 or 1985 (or perhaps 1955)?

In retrospect, the greaser gimmick may have been a bad idea....

tbh it looked like Taker's foot hit the top rope and caused his dive to fall short. I fail to see why it was deemed Sim's fault.

This would have been the greatest gimmick ever.
A wrestler who adds the catch phrases of wrestlers who have been future endeavored to his own. In turn becoming more powerful than any of them could imagine.

That would be the ultimate dig at all of the guys. There would be no chance they come back. However, I would love to see it.

BA BA DA DA DOOO
I still say that if they had shown that opposite side of the ring camera angle when it first happened I would have thought Taker had died.

I wish the camera he was using worked so we could see that angle

Sim Snuka was not exactly a young talent, or anything too special. He could have been given more of a shot, though. After the Chris Jericho legend stuff, Snuka could have at least stood up for his dear old dad and took Jericho to the limit, or something.
Just curious, for those with wrestling knowledge (Destor, Carl -- I'm looking at you guys), do you think Snuka is responsible for Taker's dive going awry at WrestleMania? Apparently that was a large part of the reason he was released.

He's going to cross the line I mean the track

All he did was give a mean "Crack in da mouf"
If this story hadn't broke...I would have completely forgotten his existence.

I didn't mind him when he was in the tag team, but once he was singles, i found him rather boring.

Forgot all about that. I figured when Manu got released and Snuka didn't, that they might have at least had something for Snuka to do. Once Jericho beat the shit out of the Superfly and Sim was nowhere to be seen, I kinda figured that was the end.

Sim just never had a chance to come out on his own. Only reason why CAWdy has gotten as far as he has is Dusty and Dustin.
