It's currently updating but once that's over with what should I do next? I've had it since the 2006 summer but I've never connected to the 'net before with it so I'm totally clueless. I hardly/read about the Wii so I'm pretty clueless about everything. Hook a brother up son

Why'd you hook it up in the first place?

Didn't realize I could buy some many games on there, I gotta get a classic controller now.

J.J. & Jeff will most likely be my first purchase.

"Now what?" is pretty much the question Wii owners have been asking since the system launched and they hooked it up online. The answer still alludes them all.

If you're online, just play games, online, for free.

You can waste months of your life to mario kart

You can download several channels for free at the Nintendo store such as the weather channel or the news channel.
You can also download the internet channel..don't remember the price tho.
If you have any online games you can play those or just download some Wiiware titles that offer online play. I recommend you check out Wiiware titles. There is some that are def. worth checking out and they are quite affordable.

WiiWare. There are a lot of great games on it now. World of Goo, Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People, Bit. Trip Beat, Tetris to name a few.

Virtual Console has some great games. I don't know why Nintendo is holding back on some games. By now now there should be hundreds of great VC games to chose from, but instead there are about 300 games in total. A lot of them are complete ass.

Our Wii is gathering dust. We only really use it for Smash Bros and Melee is better than Brawl anyway.

My Wii is getting some use now that Tiger 10 and MotionPlus are out. It'll get a lot more once Resort comes out in July.

If you wanna see how big of a difference it makes, do a 2 player disc golf using a MotionPlus and a regular remote. Do the thing where you hold the frisbee and check out the movements. It's really a 1:1.

My cousins girlfriend downloaded the internet channel thing....and hasnt used it since. She got it just to have it even though we all have laptops for the net. Stupid mistake on her part...

My wii is taking a break.
I am currently hooked on my NDS again. I had neglected it for like a year.

I hope you are using a flashcart for your DS.
