Campaign was pretty good but think the first one was slighty better. Still had plenty of humour in it, although I'm pretty sure Haggard was voice by someone different this time round. It worth a run through, only takes around 6-8 hours to do it.

Me and Extreme tore it up for a few games this morning. He's pretty versed already.

Finally getting the groove with Assault, loving that 'rough neck, expendable' rush of battle.

I CANNOT get my Veteran status working. Fucking stupid EA making it a website activation instead of through the game. And guess what - the website missed read my email and attached my EA account to my PS3 ID! WTF?!? I couldn't even recover my PS3 ID when I wanted to on a PS3 console, and EA manages to fish it out for no fucking reason. Gonna contact EA and see if they can attach my GT to my current Live ID. I have a feeling this will lead to further frustration...

Squad Rush is the best mode in the game. Not only is it super competitive and balanced, it reveals recon whores for the bicthes they are. No excuses in this mode! I'm 3 and 0 so far, and that's working with a random squad. Can't wait to dominate with my usual boys.

Getting tired of being on the squad doing all of the work. 100% of the time, no bullshit, the objective my squad isn't watching will be armed and destroyed first (barring structural demolishes, and even then we're usually on point).

Gonna start inviting like crazy to get as much of my guys in one team as possible, even if we don't end up on the same squad. Also, if ever there would be a Bad Company 3 (or if the proper Battlefield 3 sequel adopts the squad system), there should be a Squad Leader who's allowed to talk to another Squad Leader for some sense cohesion beyond the actual squad. I'd love to coordinate a larger scale tactic, or just ask what the Hell the other squads are doing. It would still keep the chat channels from being spammed or overloaded if it's just the leaders communicating.

Changes coming in the update -- due out May 11 via Xbox Live and PSN -- include a few balance tweaks of most weapons, a slight nerfing of the attack helicopter and an increase in the velocity of tracer darts, making it easier to stick 'em to that aforementioned helicopter. Joy!

Increased the base range of all Automatic and Semiautomatic weapons for more consistent close range combat.
Slightly increased the damage of Semiautomatic rifles over long range for more consistent damage output.
Increased the zoomed burst accuracy of LMGs and decreased LMG accuracy when moving to reduce LMG run and gun.
Decreased the base damage of the M60 and XM8 LMGs to bring them in line with the other LMG damage values.
Decreased the damage of the PKM over long range to balance it with other LMGs.
Increased the base damage of the Type88 LMG to balance it with other LMGs.
Slightly reduced the base damage of the M16 and G3 to balance the increased range.

Fixed a bug where the BMD3 would take extra damage to the front armor.

New downloadable content for Battlefield:Bad Company 2 will ad co-op gameplay and make it easier to unlock your gear.

Gamers on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will be able to download the new Onslaught mode for Battlefield: Bad Company 2 on June 22, Electronic Arts said Thursday. The mode supports up to four players, offering new challenges and achievements for both the experienced and those new to the game. The new co-op expansion will cost $10.

Those with little time on their hands can also drop $7 per kit to unlock all the items and skills related to each of Bad Company 2’s multiplayer character classes. Twenty bucks unlocks the kits for every class.

According to EA’s press release, these cheats don’t go up for sale until June 16 on Xbox Live and June 22 via PSN. But I’m seeing the kit upgrades available now via the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Battlefield: Bad Company 2 is a military-themed first-person shooter developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts. It is one of the many modern combat games attempting to take a bite out of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s market dominance.

The only thing artificial about me Kalyx is when I have no emotion on the public Battlefield. I don't care who dies and occaisionly I will ignore a dead comrade. I only feel bad cos you're on another platform and not PC so we cannot have a game together. Public is also good for getting all of your pins. If they fix the M1 I can bronze all weapons and only boats left for Bronzing all vehicles.

That's not true at all in this case. It's about enjoyment. Kinda like CSS. When everyone is playing with the AWP, it takes away that uncertainty and skill of playing with other weapons.

LoDown pretty much has it. Basically. 5v5. You're kill someone and they are not shooting back, just reviving. You're killing people and wiping out 2 or 3 guys, but they just spam the paddles and it just kills the enjoyment amongst other things.

First game I play, Rush on Port Valdez, joined the attacking team as the last charge was set, set up across from it to 'cover' and attempt to take out defenders trying to disarm, was knifed in the back by a sniper sitting in the bush not even attempting the objective. Game ended pretty much straight after. Nice to see nothing has changed :|

And now bugs ahoy on the new maps - my team "lost" when we killed the last of the attacking side in Rush on Harvest Day, due to it suddenly deciding that we were actually the attacking side. Whoops.

Liking Vietnam so far. You get a definite Battlefield 1943 vibe from it as far as the map intros and everything goes.

Shame there's not that many maps, but hey, pretty good as far as DLC goes.

It can be quite frustrating initially online I found - once you get a feel for the maps and classes though, it starts to be tremendous fun. Unless you're stuck with a useless team who all decide to go Recon and somehow think you can win by just sniping all the time.

Just got my bronze medal in a boat, finally got the 2 awards I've been desperate to finish off (all the way back since the M1 was buggered and glitched). Now that is fixed and the boat is done. BANG. All vehicle bronze stars and distinguished bronze star thingy. Platinumed armour, close on air and got serveral weapon ones (MG36, T88, M1911, AN94, XM8, knife and Nade launcher).

I think that I'm gonna try platinum them all until BF3 comes out. lol. Bit of a challenge, but still.

I got BC1 and finished the story last year, but I want to get 100% on it before I get BC2, which means spending the next 3/4 months on the 10k kills trophy.

Hopefully they release a complete edition of BC2 later in the year.
