Yeah, vocals are weak (recording quality doesn't help that) but other than that, I've certainly heard worse. 'Mad props' for actually getting on doing this stuff also

it's not your best. i'd scrap the song but keep the riff from about 1:55 onwards for use in something else, because that's pretty cool and it's not a bad ending.

is it that my voice is too *sweet* sounding for the style of music? that's what I was thinking as well

you did a terrible job of mixing your vocals into that tbh. it sounds like karaoke, it's too loud for the music, the reverb is crap and your delivery is too soft.

Noted. I will try to improve it.

sorry, i guess i'm coming off as a cock here, i love you really. but yeah you've got an aggressive song which sounds loud and then a really quietly sung vocal way over it.

Yeah I write metal guitar but when I open my mouth that is what comes out.

It is different, which is good I guess?

maybe you should go for more of a my bloody valentine sound or something. might work. perhaps overdrive your voice if you have any way to do that.

I need to record it with singing it harsher.

Again, I live with roommates so I'm not using the full volume of my voice. I need to record it using more *balls* if you know what I mean.

Yeah, you're saying that you need to grow a set.

nah i know what you mean, i sing pretty quiet at home too. singing loud is hard. i always sound like some retarded joe strummer despite the fact i'm not from london.
