There's a difference between grieving over a loss and dwelling on it as Martha has. It's been 12 years now and she is still bitter over what happened. Nothing will bring Owen back, so to not be able to celebrate or acknowledge his accomplishments to me is selfish. Again, she has the right to be bitter, cause it was WWE's fault, but at this point what is the use?

Don't think anyone has a right to judge Martha Hart, or tell her what she should and shouldn't do. I highly doubt anyone here has been in the same situation as her. Not talking about loss in general mind you, but her specific situation of losing her husband and raising kids alone. And now, the same people who were at fault want to make money off of it?

This is the thing. She and a whole shitload of people have gone on and on about "WWE was irresponsible and this stunt should never have been done." I'm personally sick of hearing that. Plenty of people had been lowered from the ceiling before Owen was; nobody ever said that WCW was irresponsible for the numerous times they dropped Sting from the rafters (which was a far more dangerous stunt since he was dropped into a near free-fall and then decelerated.) Nobody ever cried out about Shawn Michaels' entrance at Wrestlemania 12 (watch the Shawn Michaels "Heartbreak and Triumph" video; Vince did it himself during the preparation.) I know I've seen Jerry Lawler and Paul Bearer suspended over the ring in cages. Any one of said people could have experienced the same fate as Owen Hart. Martha Hart and a lot of the Hart camp choose to believe that what happened to Owen was the result of some kind of spiteful vendetta against him. It's sad and disgusting and people need to grow the fuck up.

At least Martha, to my knowledge, has never accused WWE of murdering Owen, the way Jim Cornette did.
