I think PWG or DGUSA have taken over the reigns as the new indy to watch

loopydate 09-09-2012 02:17 PM

I feel like PWG could easily pass ROH if they actually toured.

PWG is basically the same shit, only their fat lard ass smarks fans have tans because of the weather.

Love me some PWG. The 3-way ladder match between The Super Smash Bros., The Young Bucks, and Future Shock from the last show was awesome. They really are far and away better than ROH right now.

Had one more week and couldn't do it, huh?

Lock Jaw 09-16-2012 02:14 PM

I actually did watch the final week. Didn't feel like commenting on it. Did not think I would be letting anyone down.

Evan Bourne's brother had a match. Looked exactly like Evan Bourne, only with a great big head of curly hippie hair, and Nasty Boys/Zack Ryder looking gear.

ROH has certainly lost a lot of luster. There are a few guys down there that have a bit of personality, but for the most part, ROH has lost its ability to create those indy-darling stars. They should invest some money into getting guys like Carlito onto the roster. Guys who can work, talk and get some attention for the promotion.

I'm glad that they seem to have written off Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards, though. Neither guy was really ever interesting as a singles act. Richards vs. Edwards could have told a good story, but I think I would rather see them reform The American Wolves if they ever come back.

Just throwing this out there (I think this is the right place to post this), I don't like Kevin Steen. The guy comes off as really sloppy to be in the ring. I don't like how he throw/ suplex a guy and they'll land in the rops on a regular basis. That's really dangerous and can easily hurt someone very badly

Bocephus Black's big on big bad Steen due to his bulbous body! Booyakah!
