I approve.

I know you meant it.

It stands to reason that the WWE would want the biggest PPV draw in WWE history to be on the 'biggest show of all time'.

Not to simplify a complicated issue, but Rock rules in every way, there is nothing in terms of wrestling that he isn't good at, which puts him in an elite category as one of the top few greats of all time. Again, it stands to reason to put him on the show in whatever capacity they can.

Of course not. At this point I'm convinced that your dislike for The Rock is preventing you from even wanting to like him, but I'm not here to attack anyone for it. Alot of wrestlers have finishers that may be similar to someone else's. I'm sure the Bookend has a technical name as well. And it's not a bad move at all. Is it credible? Yeah. When the fans begin to shout out the ref's count, after someone hits a move - it is credible.

Of course they didn't, they are greats. They're HUUUUUUUUUGE stars and two of the best the sport could ever have prayed for. Your taste seems to be the in wrestling, which is admirable. Flair was great on the mic and his gimmick was legendary. Hart was strong on the mic in the sense that he cut to the chase. But not every star is going to be like them.

I'm not talking in terms of greatness, I'm talking in terms of variety. The Rock is one of a kind, in my book. I've said all I really have to say as far as defending him, because he doesn't need me to.

The sales speak for themselves.
