I'm going to quote something my boss said to a customer who believed he was getting ripped off because he was black.
"Life isn't fair, get over it."

I'm not telling you to get over it, but life isn't fair. You're right. Orton got a huge rub from an icon, a legend in the making, and a hairless ape. After that you can't just put the Euro title on him and make him feud with Shannon Moore over spilt milk. Orton was headed places the moment he walked to the ring with Triple H and Ric Flair.
Being the son of a wrestler helped him get his foot in the door to be the youngest world champion in WWE history. Orton not making waves in the industry is like Bill Gate's son working at 7-11. No chance in hell.
Orton was given so much, worked for very little, and should get all the credit along with all the shit he has earned.

After that you can't just put the Euro title on him and make him feud with Shannon Moore over spilt milk, because there is no Euro title. Orton was headed places the moment he walked to the ring with Triple H and Ric Flair, though the lack of crowd reaction for most of that run was ignored.
Being the son and grandson of a wrestler helped him get his foot in the door to be the youngest world champion in WWE history, though the Brock Lesnar's departure did help. Orton not being overrate is like George W. Bush's new son-in-law working for an oil company. No chance in hell he was gonna serve his term in the Army.
Orton was given so much, worked for very little, and should get all the credit along with all the bags he shit in.

Do the wrestling companies design the covers for the games?

No, I'm going to repost that he doesn't, and that this is just a thread to take digs at Joe. For whatever reason, I don't understand.

No, just one paragraph explaining it:

I "know comedy" because I am naturally a very funny person. Believe it or not, I'm very different on TPWW than I am in real life. You don't know otherwise, and you won't be able to convince me otherwise. With some things if people don't know, you can't tell 'em. I am fairly certain (of course, I cannot be) that you don't know. You might be hilarious in real life, but you strike me as a bomber.

Maybe he'll throw in that I'm just "playing a gimmick" that goes against anything in the IWC or entertainment in general and not understand that other people like other things and that if HE and a hundred other people say, for example, Santino is a "subtle comedic genius", that it's the God-given truth and the majority.

Nah, I don't really play the gimmick card. I make fun of KK for his "gimmick," but that's about it. Also, if you couldn't tell that "comedic genius" was hyperbole with Santino...well, if some people don't know, you can't tell 'em. That quote is probably going to pop up again. You just don't give the man enough credit. You overlook why the man is actually funny, and just make shitty generalisations.

Huh? I'm not even going to attempt to see how that helps your case. Why are you bringing simple facts about the situation into this?

I'm not going to call you an asshole. You already try purposely enough to be one to know that you come off that way. It's perfectly intended on your part. Also, why put "has to get it my way" in quotation marks? For one, I don't think I've ever used that phrase in my life, and secondly, putting hypothetical statements in quotation marks just gives people an indicator of what to avoid to make you look like an idiot. Ah well, if some people don't know, you can't tell 'em.

And yes, I will argue with you for the sake of it. Why the hell not? You found the need to make this thread for the sake of it? There's hardly any point to it at all, actually.

Starting from now? That would disqualify anything that came before. You're selling yourself short with your word choices. And no, I'm flat-out disagreeing with you. Ah well...if some people don't know...

LOL! Xero made grammatical errors on purpose in a sentence talking about grammatical errors. That's something I have never seen someone do before. Isn't he funny? At least sarcasm updates itself via context.

Considering it throws quotes at me I've never actually used, I'd say it's pretty piss-poor and inaccurate, actually. Wait, you're a journalist. That explains it.

Shadow, is that you? Are you saying that every fat guy can do what Joe does, and that the entire industry plays along with it?

Of course a large man Samoa Joe's side can do what Joe does. Fuck, Joe does it. He's a human being. Anyone could technically put on a match with perfect psychology, too. People have limits, though. Joe has worked his ass off to craft a style that takes a lot out of people.

KOoS' post about the WWE only signing CM Punk on recommendation: Didn't Joe turn down a WWE contract?

JamesSteele's point about the name: I know what the name means, I just think it is really forced and awkward for a pun. It's your right to not like him, but Joe's promos work. They're not overly flashy, but they aren't that forced. Especially when held up against Randy Orton's, or even John Cena's. Joe's not a natural on the mic, he's a wrestler first, talker second, but he's nowhere near bad.

I agree. It's not the best ever thing ever, or anything, but people are being way too harsh on it. I'm sure most don't actually put weight on their criticisms, though.

It's certainly not a bad cover.

Are you trying to put words in my mouth so that you can make another diatribe based on a lie?

Man oh man...I mean, for all your snipes at me being a journliast, it'd be nice if you actually had your facts straight before calling my kettle black. That would be rather difficult though.

I've explained myself to you before, Noid. On this very issue of "Big Men." That you continue to assert things contrary to what I've stated on the matter really does lead me to believe you're lying, intentionally, to make up an argument. Like the CM Punk deal, like your faux complaints to attack my journalism, like your entire "gimmick" which boils down to "I'm too stupid to understand you, so I'll make up an argument I can easily defeat with my half-assed reasoning."

You're like Fox news: Yelling at the real journalists and spinning bullshit all the while.

His promo's aren't flashy because he talks like he is on a fucking episode of Law & Order. Fact is, Joe isn't that great of a worker. Goldberg looked like a hell of a worker because he was stiff, didn't have to sell much, and had people thinking he was killing people. The fact is that Joe got almost as good of a push as Goldberg got in WCW and Joe has flopped as champion when TNA had bigger names than Jeff Jarrett. Joe is an indy darling because he helped put ROH on the map, but that hardly makes him one of the best in the world. CM Punk got a good gig in WWE and is doing something with it (outpopping Jesus and everything). Joe has gotten the ubderpush of being the face of a promotion and he hasn't done anything with it. JOE IS GONNA KILL YOU...if you take his burger. JOE IS GONNA KILL YOU...if you put the future of your promotion on his back. JOE IS GONNA KILL YOU...because he just can't be the guy everybody thinks he is.
