IC Champion 05-11-2008 08:00 PM

I have the Cavs in 7 VEL.

SammyG 05-11-2008 08:27 PM

Fuck. Was mad depressed, still kinda am. Yes RP, luke walton is a piece of shit indeed. WHERE THE FUCK ARE JORDAN FARMAR AND VLAD RAD this series?!?!?!?! WHY CAN'T WE SHOOT FREE THROWS?! BIG ups to Lamar and Fish, dudes were ballin' today. As far as Kob is concerned, he choked hardcore. Obviously, he is playing through a big injury, but still, trust your teammates!!! We relied on him way too much to do anything substantial.

IC Champion 05-11-2008 08:31 PM

Lakers are dissapointing me at this moment. I expect more than this that's for damn sure.

SammyG 05-11-2008 08:35 PM

I know :( :( :( :( :(

Go Spurs :( :( :(

Splaya 05-11-2008 08:41 PM

Hey Sammy, not to hate on you bro, but you were ragging my team (the Pistons) a few days ago. Now we look to end the series on Tuesday, while your team searches for answers.

WATSUPWITHDAT???

the jazz have lost only 5 home games ALL SEASON. This ain't the nuggets that the lakers are playing.

IC Champion 05-11-2008 09:29 PM

Yeah I know, I've been was saying to my buddy yesterday that the Lakers will have trouble winning at Utah because of that reason.

SammyG 05-11-2008 09:42 PM

As long as the home team wins every game from now on, I'm fine with the series.

Splaya 05-11-2008 09:52 PM

And if the Lakers don't?

Kris P Lettus 05-11-2008 09:53 PM

Come on..

Hornets are looking like shit in the paint..

then they are in deep touble cause utah is the toughest arena in the nba for a road team to win at.

mrslackalack 05-11-2008 10:30 PM

Counting the postseason the Jazz are 42-5 at home. However their road record is not impressive but if I am correct they started improving on the road in the 2nd half of the season. I think the Game 5 winner of the Lakers/Jazz will be the series winner because if the Jazz win they should be able to take care of home court in game 6. If the Lakers win I see them taking Game 7. Phil Jackson is like 43-0 in series where he wins Game 1 and has an outstanding Game 7 record.

SammyG 05-11-2008 11:43 PM

Yeah, if we don't win game 5, this series is over.

SammyG 05-11-2008 11:57 PM

Kobe is hella hurt. Couldn't sit down on the plane, couldn't sit down in the press conference. He can't sit down at ALL. He might miss game 5 :(

IC Champion 05-12-2008 12:13 AM

He could be done.

hot date for Kobe?

SammyG 05-12-2008 12:38 AM

In his press conference he said he'd definitely play, but he might be hurting himself even worse, and in result, hurting his team. Damn.

Also fuck off Skippy, we destroyed you in the first round, you have no room to talk. Only people Kobe was raping was your pathetic defenders.

Splaya 05-12-2008 01:24 AM

Point SammyG.

When did he hurt himself though

SammyG 05-12-2008 01:25 AM

First quarter, was like 3 minutes into the game, after a twisting jumpshot over Ronnie Brewer I believe.

Splaya 05-12-2008 01:33 AM

Well I know what it's like to have your star hurt and sit on pins and needles (Billups) so good luck Sammy

Hanso Amore 05-12-2008 08:28 AM

Kobe didnt seem to be in any pain when he was making shots.

AFter that inbounds pass buzzer beater, he was able to crouch down and showboat and dance.

But every time something went wrong he was "Hurt"....Miss a shot, lay down, turnover, Im hurt. Drain a shot, Lets dance.

I think he is full of shit.

Most of these guys make this shit up so that they can look heroic.

Gertner 05-12-2008 09:21 AM

Here's what i don't get about Kobe. If you are hurt, and gasol and odom are having stellar games, WHY ARE YOU SHOOTING THE BALL SO MUCH. It's like he was unselfish Kobe the first three quarters, but then turned into his old self in the 4th.

I am really liking our chances in game 5, although I'm sure the refs wil give the Lakers 20 more FTA just like they always do in LA.

hey where's my good luck considering we "supposedly" going to get swept.

mrslackalack 05-12-2008 11:26 AM

First Take and the LA Times said that not only is their major concern over Kobes back but that some of the players were real mad at Phil Jackson for blaming them in his press conf for not helping Kobe in the OT.

Even though it's 2-2 Lakers are still gonna win in 5.

VonErichLives 05-12-2008 02:00 PM

doesn't Phil Jackson have a history of hating playing in Utah, to the point that he's accused them of getting "home town refs" and pumping in noise or something... I thought espn was talking about it the other day.

SammyG 05-12-2008 02:10 PM

That's cuz the officiating is bullshit in Utah. The fans are all over the officials, making it difficult to be a fairly officiated game. You wanna talk about extra free throws, Gertner? Did you happen to see that you shot 20 more than we did yesterday???

SammyG 05-12-2008 02:11 PM

I am really concerned though. Kobe is gonna be nothing but a decoy on Wednesday, and if the other players are pissed, well then we are fucked.

i think phil must have not watched game 3.

Splaya 05-12-2008 02:18 PM

Point Gerner.

1-1 now

mrslackalack 05-12-2008 04:17 PM

Jameer Nelson guarntees Game 5 win on the road at Detroit.

mrslackalack 05-12-2008 04:19 PM

Predictions on Cavs/Celtics Game 4 tonight? I am going with the Cavs by 10.

RP 05-12-2008 04:21 PM

Lebron scores 55

McLegend 05-12-2008 10:53 PM

Lebron owned KG on that dunk. OWNED HIM.

IC Champion 05-12-2008 11:23 PM

Cleveland in 7

McLegend 05-12-2008 11:26 PM

So you think Clevand can win two games on the road in this series?

IC Champion 05-12-2008 11:35 PM

Well actually they only need to win 1.

McLegend 05-12-2008 11:36 PM

Yeah you're right, I fucked up.

mrslackalack 05-13-2008 12:01 AM

That was an awesome dunk by Lebron tonight. Pressure is on the Celtics to win this huge game 5 at home same as it is with NO and the Lakers.
