Good move for the Lakers, although at this point of the year there is no way a trade like that would go through. It would probably be worse off for the Bulls anyway, in terms of depth and losing Thomas, but they'd have a lineup of:

Hinrich
Kobe
Deng
Brown
Wallace

Most likely, which would be sick.

OMFG, in the last 2 hours there's been 2 updates outta LA. First one said Kobe cleared out his locker, his agent was talking with Buss and Kupchak. Last one came out a bit ago, saying all of this is false and Kobe wants to be a Laker, as long as management lets him. I AM DYING HERE, COME ONNN.

Nocioni can't be dealt until after Dec 15th. Kobe will be a Laker this year. If we suck, he will get dealt by the deadline, however.
