IC Champion 05-21-2008 10:52 PM

Kobe can show up and at any time.

IC Champion 05-21-2008 10:53 PM

Haha Ginobli is balding.

IC Champion 05-21-2008 10:58 PM

and on cue Kobe shows up

IC Champion 05-21-2008 11:01 PM

fuck the Spurs.

IC Champion 05-21-2008 11:49 PM

FUCK THE SPURS, LAKERS WIN

Splaya 05-21-2008 11:49 PM

Remember when people said Sasha Vucelic (sp) would have been only good for defense.

Hey Ninti, how's his FT shooting with 7.9 in the 4th going for the Spurs?

SammyG 05-22-2008 12:07 AM

OMFG OMFG OMFG OMFG OMFG OMFG OMFG OMFG

LAAAAAAAKE SHOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

McLegend 05-22-2008 12:22 AM

Something is wrong with Ginobili.

Juan 05-22-2008 12:49 AM

Yeah, I think the problem is Sasha Vujacic.

SammyG 05-22-2008 01:04 AM

How the hell did we win that, amazing. SO HAPPY. Down 20 to the defending champs and we win. Huge confidence booster. LO and Fish were non-existant today, but Farmar played alright, Radman had a big first quarter, and Mamba was Mamba in the 2nd half. Sasha Vujacic played amazing D on Manu, and did ok on offense.

LAKE SHOW

Ninti the Mad 05-22-2008 01:38 AM

Wow.

So the refs let them play the first half of the game and then its like "oh shit the Lakers are getting owned lets start making biased calls towards the end".

Horrible officiating. Especially the last two plays. First, it's miraclously out of bounds off Duncan when you can clearly see a Laker swapped it. Then the non-call when the guy basically pushed Ginobili so he couldnt reach the ball.

This is why I hate playing the David Stern Lakers.

SammyG 05-22-2008 01:50 AM

Are you fucking kidding me, you idiot. You're gonna blame the refs? There were maybe 1-2 calls that went our way, but you blew a TWENTY POINT LEAD. That is ALL on the Spurs. Can not believe you are blaming the refs for your loss, that is pathetic.

Ninti the Mad 05-22-2008 02:03 AM

Its true.

Its all good though. Spurs usually get pissed off at that kind of stuff. They better bounce back harder.

SammyG 05-22-2008 02:16 AM

... you blew a 20 point lead. and you're blaming the refs. Why don't you blame Pop for the stupid rotations, and taking Bowen off of Kobe for like 10 minutes? Why don't you blame Manu for being terrible?

Ninti the Mad 05-22-2008 03:09 AM

You dont see how the refs impacted the game cuz it went your way.

I saw everytime the Spurs got momentum going again... 3 second violation or some ticky tack foul. I dont like that shit. It bugs the shit out of me.

You dont know how it is to be a fan of a 'small market' team that has won 4 championchips in less than a decade, current defending champions, and with multiple all-stars and STILL doesnt get respect. The only way the Spurs counter that bullshit is by playing 200%.

I wish basketball was like it was in the 80's where there were less bullshit calls. Let them play like men.

Splaya 05-22-2008 03:16 AM

Ninti,

I could make excuses about the Pistons as there were some noticeable things in Game 1 that I noticed. Instead, I say we got outplayed and look forward to game 2.

That's it

RP 05-22-2008 08:01 AM

Its still SPURRRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSS SHOWWWWWWWWWW Ninti. These guys have no clue.

RP 05-22-2008 08:09 AM

I dont really have a dog in this Detroit vs Boston match. My favorite player in the series is Pierce by far. But i kinda want to root against Boston because Ray Allen is really pissing me off. Its like that guy ages a year every single game. He needs to be benched. Get rid of that 3 for 10 shooting every night and get someone like House in the game. I kinda think Boston goes 2-0 tonight though. Billups being injured is huge.

SammyG 05-22-2008 08:23 AM

WHAT THE FUCK, BOWEN IN THAT VIDEO. that's the kind of shit i fucking talk about when I say I hate that douchebag.

RP 05-22-2008 08:26 AM

he barely touched him. That vuvuvushiesch should just stfu

Jura 05-22-2008 08:40 AM

lol Bowen is like an assassin. Vujacic was doing a number on Manu so he sent him a message. Just like when CP3 was owning the Spurs and then Bowen hip checked him after the whistle. Someone should do the same shit to him and see how he likes it.

mrslackalack 05-22-2008 11:56 AM

I didnt watch the game but saw the Spurs had a 20 pt lead and I thought it was def over and suprised to hear the Lakers won. I did hear from a Spurs fan friend of mine and a Lakers fan friend of mine that they felt that the refs were biased against them lol. My Spurs friend said Kobes one of the biggest whiners out there and my Lakers friend said it is Ginobli and that Duncans a big nerd.

mrslackalack 05-22-2008 12:01 PM

I think the Spurs will rebound and make this a great series but the antonishing stat out there is Phil Jackson is like 40-0 in series when he wins Game 1.

You realize Ginobili plays for the Spurs right?

Even if the Lakers did get some calls, personally I thought it was pretty even from what I watched as an unbiased fan, there is no excuse for giving up a 20 point lead.

Ninti the Mad 05-22-2008 07:25 PM

I kinda overreacted a bit yesterday. I had a bad migraine for two days and was just frustrated.

Spurs better come out strong. When they take Kobe out, I feel they should also take out Duncan. I thought he did good in altering alot of shots of Kobe.

Also, they need to put Ginobili on the bench for this series and start Finley.

Also, GIVE BRENT BARRY SOME MINUTES. That guy is the man.

McLegend 05-22-2008 10:49 PM

I know he hadn't been playing well, and Boston fans aren't generally happy with him...

Isn't Sam Cassel like actually useful in this game, because he can hit a shot? I know he is a terrible defender, but Boston can't score.

IC Champion 05-22-2008 11:30 PM

Boston lost at home, now they need to win on the road, something that they have proven they cant do in this post season.

mrslackalack 05-22-2008 11:44 PM

Celtics HAVE to win on the road now. I think they can do it but playing in Detroit is tough. It depends on if they get the hungry Detroit team they took advantage and took apart the Lakers 4-1 in the 04 Finals or the choking Pistons team that blows 2-0 series leads in the Conf Finals and loses the series.

SammyG 05-22-2008 11:54 PM

CELLLTSS HOWWWWWW

Juan 05-23-2008 04:19 AM

How about something we can all agree on....

TNT coverage > ABC coverage

VonErichLives 05-23-2008 11:27 AM

they'll take a game in detroit, my biggest concern in this series was Detroits defense when the Celtics shooters are tired, but last night the Celtics put up 97 points on Detroit.

Detroit lets then do that in Detroit and they'll steal a game.

I know, "Celtics haven't won on the road in the playoffs yet", they haven't needed to in all honesty, now they do. Also, Detroit has already dropped a home playoff game so it's not like they were undefeated at home like the Celtics were.

still think it goes 7, nothing I saw last night changes that.

I'm not sure why I want them to win more, because I'm a C's fan or to see IC head explode

Ninti the Mad 05-23-2008 01:54 PM

Detroit will win.

SammyG 05-23-2008 02:04 PM

Lakers are 30-6 with Pau in the lineup. Gonna be 31-6 after tonight :)

Ninti the Mad 05-23-2008 02:39 PM

I will tell you the same thing I told Krispy when he talked shit.

We'll see.

You're out of your mind. They will not put 97 points up in Detroit, because when in Detroit, The Pistons play LOCKDOWN D. And Ray Allen will not have another game like he did in Game 2. The Celtics should have won that game, I'll even admit it, but the problem was Mr Allen got caught in foul trouble. Nice 5 fouls by the end of the 3rd quarter. That's what hurt the C's in the end.

SammyG 05-23-2008 03:39 PM

Pistons will win this series in 6.

Oh, excuses. They were outplayed most of the game, they made it close near the end. Detriot has now won a road game in each of it's series, where as Boston hasn't won any. And it's not like Boston is blowing there competetion away at home either. If I'm a Boston fan I pray to god that they can somehow steal a game in Detriot, but they couldn't do it in Atlanta who's crowd during the regular season was never more than 10,000. And While Boston scored alot of points so did Deriot and they obviously scored more.

1) What excuses? where in what I said (see below) did I make an excuse? You keep pointing out the Celtics haven't won on the road, and I'm just pointing out thet Detroit has lost at home in the playoffs.

Detroit made some great adjustments for game 2, will Boston then adjust for game 3? dunno, I admit not having a lot of faith in Doc.

2) I love how you rant out the playoff being different then the regular season then continue to pull things from the regular season to make you're point. As you would say "Atlantas attendence was regular season, which the playoffs are much different"

and until last night the Celtics played lock-down D at home, some anything is possible.

What's funny about Allen that had a stat that the like 5 games he's scored the most in this season they're 1-4.

The fouls hurt him and pierce, the pic and rolls they ran on him and Pierce all night was great strategy, I admit I have little faith in Doc to "adjust" on things he saw in game #2, but I guess we'll know tomorow night.

LOL, that is called a strawman. I guess mentioning Atlanta's attendence and lack of homecourt advantage wasn't relevant. I guess everything that happens in the regular season isn't relevant. I say that post season and regular season are two different things, and you make the assumption that I said "the regular season doesn't matter and isn't relevant"

Come on VEL, you can use your stupid people tricks all you like, but it isn't fooling anyone.
