fucking paul pierce was straight pissing me off tonight. couldn't do shit and needed to stop trying. fuck even garnett wasn't doing shit besides rebounding. it seemed like they were afraid to take it to the hole.

El Fangel 06-11-2008 12:53 AM

Tell me Sammy, how much jizz is on your floor right now?

McLegend 06-11-2008 12:54 AM

KG is a bitch.

ron the dial 06-11-2008 12:54 AM

lol okay legend :y:

SammyG 06-11-2008 12:56 AM

KG is a monster, couldnt believe he was so bad tonight. Same with Pierce. Allen was amazing, though. Just like Powe stepped up in game 2, Sasha stepped it up for us tonight at home. Bench players always play best on their home court.

And FA, none is on the floor, as I wasn't too happy with the way we played. Lamar and Pau were awful. Same with Luke, but he is always awful.

El Fangel 06-11-2008 12:57 AM

Would you rather them be down 3-0? Even if they played bad?

ron the dial 06-11-2008 12:57 AM

yeah i like vujacic a lot. he has so much fucking energy. noticed that in game one and i've been a fan since (lol a whole 3 games).

SammyG 06-11-2008 01:00 AM

lol yeah Sasha is the man. Wears a girls headband too, that a Lakers girl gave him. He used to be so bad up to this year, like someone lit a fire up his ass this year or something. He is "The Machine" for a reason.

And no FA, I am pleased with the win.

SammyG 06-11-2008 01:00 AM

and lol @ Doc Rivers. "I'm suprised Phil isn't complaining about the refs tonight"

Douchebag.

If you get punked out by Zaza Pachulia. You are a bitch.

I like the fact that he took 21 shots. Shows that he might be learning to man up when it counts. MAYBE.

ron the dial 06-11-2008 01:01 AM

oh yeah no you are definitely right legend. kg is a bitch. for sure. yep.

McLegend 06-11-2008 01:04 AM

A superstar of his Caliber should be able to take over a game, and not shoot 20 foot fadeways that clank off the rim.

ron the dial 06-11-2008 01:05 AM

i'm not going to disagree with that, and i have already stated my displeasure with his performance tonight. but it happens. that doesn't negate the fact that he is a superstar of that caliber. and certainly doesn't make him a bitch.

It's not just tonight though. He has been like that his whole career.

The bigger moment the smaller KG is. He's afraid.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 06-11-2008 01:10 AM

Shitty ass game but oh well, didn't think there was gonna be a sweep or anything anyway. Really wish Game 5 was in Boston though, especially if the Lakers win game 4

SammyG 06-11-2008 01:17 AM

lol Kobe said shit in his post game conference.

ron the dial 06-11-2008 01:17 AM

lol yeah i saw that live on sportscenter and i did a double take. he's a good interview. and those fucking classy suits.

SammyG 06-11-2008 01:19 AM

Yeah he always looks fly as hell.

SammyG 06-11-2008 01:58 AM

Also what the fuck is up with our missed FTs. Especially Kobe, Pau too. come on.

ron the dial 06-11-2008 01:59 AM

kobe missed 7. that alone. but fuck he got to shoot 18 tonight. almost double the whole team last game.

SammyG 06-11-2008 02:26 AM

Yeah, you had to of known that was gonna happen, though.

Yeah I know, I pick the 2 road games, against the #2 team in the east, in the toughest place to play in the east as my saying "they can win on the road in the playoffs" silly me... Oh and call the cavs a 1man gang if you want, but if these Lakers played the way they did game 1 and 2 against the Cavs, it would be a close series.

Sure, if the Lakers hit free throws, or if Gasol didnt look scared as shit everytime he touched the ball, theyd have a commanding lead the whole game, but there is no doubt the Celts choked on the road...again.

Huh, so the Celtics played like shit on the road and they "choked" but the Lakers played like shit at home and it's somehow expected?

Both teams shot like crap last night, if you're going to say one team chocked I'd say the one who was at home and almost went down 3-0.

C'mon, Perkins would get fould out and Bynum would put up 20-10 consistently, leaving Gasol and Odom available to kill. Lets say the Lakers DONT make it to the championship, no chance in hell the Celts would get passed the Spurs, or hell, the SUNS for that matter...both those teams have a bench to rival their starters.

so, the Lakers w/o Bynam beat the Spurs who beat the Suns and you're saying that if the Celtics win it all this year (beating the lakers) and return most of their team they couldn't beat the Suns or the Spurs next year? now you're just talking silly.

Since game 2 to be exact.

Look at Kobe's halftime interview. He's all like "We are playing the exact same as we did in game 2." He says this with a huge grin on his face. Probably because all the calls are going the other way now lol. It is like almost exact opposite of game 2 in terms of statistics or something, it is crazy.

and Kobe was wrong, the 1st half of last nights game it was like role reverasl, the Celtics were taking the jump shots and the Lakers were driving, hence they got the calls.

Douchebag.

in fairness, the response was to a reporter asking for a comment on Phil saying that KG ran out of gas.

It was the only thing doc did or said all night I was happy with.

although, I can't wait for a Phil Jackson response...

I really don't think the refs called it any different (until the last 5mins where they were just letting them play and either team could have stabbed someone and not gotten called).

The difference was the Celtics didn't play their game and drive to the hoop and the Lakers did.

While I didn't like the calls on Kobe (the first 2 in game 2) they were "by the book, legit".

the Lakers need to play the style they did last night for the rest of the series, people had off nights, that wont happen every game, if they play the same style and hit the shots that will be the key, flip side the Celtics need to go back to their game, driving the hoop.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 06-11-2008 02:03 PM

I think Pau Gasol got demoralized when KG blocked his dunk attempt last night. After that moment he started playing extra soft, hopefully it carries over into game 4

Thats the most TV time Scalabrini and Tony Allen have seen all year. It was like there biggest task to date. People dont realize that. Scalabrini sacraficed his 70's prom suit to let Paul Pierce fake cry and sweat on him. Tony Allen cant even believe he's that close to touching Pierces genitals there. If that game wasnt on tv, Tony Allen would have made a Law And Order : SUV episode out of that moment.

Juan 06-11-2008 03:52 PM

SammyG 06-11-2008 04:25 PM

Gotta miss game 4 :( Championship soccer game.

Juan 06-11-2008 05:37 PM

Here are some notes from today's practice...

Quote:

Not great news for Boston point guard Rajon Rondo, who said he has been diagnosed with a bone bruise in his left ankle. He estimated he was 70 percent just now but said: “I’m sure I’ll play.”

Rondo (who only appears headless in this photo) also said: “It hurts a lot, but it’s not too painful.”

The Lakers worked out at Staples Center before the Celtics — putting extra emphasis on free throws. They finished up with more shooting drills — except a resting Kobe Bryant — and had no concerns about having won Game 3 ugly.

“My three rings have nothing about field-goal percentage on them,” Derek Fisher said. “They just say, ‘World Champions.’ “

RP 06-11-2008 05:54 PM

lol how did he go from 50% to 70% in less then 24hrs. Boston are just a bunch of glory seekers.

One major difference that will always separate KG from Kobe is how they play in crunch time, game 3 is proof of that, KG may be an amazing player but constantly chokes in the clutch.
Kobe under pressure?: 2 clutch jumpshots within the last couple mins. KG under pressure?: Constantly banging 20 foot jumpers off the rim.

Tony Allen is remembered for one thing this year, fouling Billups as he took a 3 pointer which allowed them to win.

As for Scalabrini, notice since Danny has been here there has always been a white guy wearing his old # that takes too many 3's... some people think he only keeps a 12th man on the team to use his number hoping to retire himself someday.

like, watching sports and talking about them in a sports forum to kill time?

or did you not know about the Pierce thing? a few years back he was stabbed multiple times at a night club and some teammates threw him into the back of an SUV and drove him to the nearest hospital (maybe 5mins away) the doctors said if they waited for an ambluence he would have bleed out.

A sweep would have been nice, but didn't see it happening, now just win one of these two and end it game 6 would be nice.

Juan 06-12-2008 04:18 PM

The Lakers NEED a win tonight!!

Juan 06-12-2008 09:29 PM

oh my! Lakers in attack mode!!!

Juan 06-12-2008 09:39 PM

21 point lead after the 1st?!?!?!?
