1) I like how you point out THE ONLY TWO road wins the Celts got this year, ignoring the fact that they lost every road game to the HAWKS and the 1 man gang Cavaliers...so yeah, they CANT win for shit on the road...which leads to to....

Yeah I know, I pick the 2 road games, against the #2 team in the east, in the toughest place to play in the east as my saying "they can win on the road in the playoffs" silly me... Oh and call the cavs a 1man gang if you want, but if these Lakers played the way they did game 1 and 2 against the Cavs, it would be a close series.

2) For all intents and purpose, the Lakers shouldnt have won tonight. They played like shit, it just so happens, as stated earlier, the Celts cant seem to do it on the road. Sure, if the Lakers hit free throws, or if Gasol didnt look scared as shit everytime he touched the ball, theyd have a commanding lead the whole game, but there is no doubt the Celts choked on the road...again.
|
Huh, so the Celtics played like shit on the road and they "choked" but the Lakers played like shit at home and it's somehow expected?
Both teams shot like crap last night, if you're going to say one team chocked I'd say the one who was at home and almost went down 3-0.

3) The Celtics will contend, yes, but lets be real...with Bynum in the Lakers lineup, do you think this would be the series it is? C'mon, Perkins would get fould out and Bynum would put up 20-10 consistently, leaving Gasol and Odom available to kill. Lets say the Lakers DONT make it to the championship, no chance in hell the Celts would get passed the Spurs, or hell, the SUNS for that matter...both those teams have a bench to rival their starters.
|
so, the Lakers w/o Bynam beat the Spurs who beat the Suns and you're saying that if the Celtics win it all this year (beating the lakers) and return most of their team they couldn't beat the Suns or the Spurs next year? now you're just talking silly.

I haven't seen reffing this bad in a long time.
Since game 2 to be exact.
Look at Kobe's halftime interview. He's all like "We are playing the exact same as we did in game 2." He says this with a huge grin on his face. Probably because all the calls are going the other way now lol. It is like almost exact opposite of game 2 in terms of statistics or something, it is crazy.
|
and Kobe was wrong, the 1st half of last nights game it was like role reverasl, the Celtics were taking the jump shots and the Lakers were driving, hence they got the calls.

Douchebag.

in fairness, the response was to a reporter asking for a comment on Phil saying that KG ran out of gas.
It was the only thing doc did or said all night I was happy with.
although, I can't wait for a Phil Jackson response...
