I know you guys already have the HHH/McMahon image up there but here is the rest of what THQ have just sent out from the DX Stuff.

Actually got high hopes for the storymode this year.

James Steele 09-26-2012 02:55 AM

I just hope they fix the servers. I spent a good hour or two making the "Kiss My Hoss" Story only for me never able to share it with the world.

#BROKEN Hasney 09-26-2012 02:59 AM

The servers, universe mode bugs and gameplay that gets a bit stale after a while are the reasons I will not be giving THQ my money.

Me too. They definitely made a good call in dropping RTWM and focusing so strongly on an era that pretty much everyone is fond of. Plus all the create and arena options with all the Attitude guys makes for a potentially fun Universe/ Create a story.

I wonder how many people here are just going to ditch most of the modern guys and run an Attitude Universe?

#BROKEN Hasney 09-26-2012 04:55 AM

With models like that, I'd probably just use them in story mode and then retire them from universe.

Retired Booker last year because his face pissed me off.

He did do the grapevine, but only when he dragged them back from the rope to stop them crawling. Pile of crap.

SlickyTrickyDamon 09-26-2012 04:15 PM

How did Steve Blackman and Hardcore Holly not make the cut?

I miss the time limit title matches for the hardcore title on the PSX.

Hoping Blackman makes it as DLC. Wouldn't really be interested in Hardcore on his own. Now if he was accompanied by Crash and Molly, then I might be interested.

Unless Kurt Angle was telling the truth on Twitter and he is in the game, maybe as DLC, and they gave him the "proper" ankle lock and gave Shamrock the grapevine one. :shifty:

Swiss Ultimate 09-27-2012 08:46 AM

Couple of months back, not sure if he deleted the tweet though.

Got a little bored, decided to do a little day-dreaming/marketing for dream DLC packs. I don't expect everyone to be included (hell, there's another 60+ guys all up). This is purely fantasy, but I wonder who and how many will get included, surely we can't just have AJ and Sandow.

WWE DLC 1:
With WWE DLC #1, unleash The Human Wrecking Ball, Ryback, on the entire roster or devastate your opponents with the natural disaster, Tensai. For those who prefer more fast-paced action, the swashbuckling Evan Bourne is more than happy to cater to your needs. Reunite The Miz with his former student, Alex Riley or Zack Ryder with his former Edgehead partner, Curt Hawkins. Give the Excellence of Execution, Bret Hart, some assistance from two of the last graduates of the world-famous Dungeon, Natalya and Tyson Kidd. Flawless and Perfection round off the package with Layla El and Michael McGillcutty.

WWE DLC 2:
With WWE DLC #2, reform WWE 12's United Kingdom with Drew McIntyre and William Regal. This pack also includes the Prime Time Players, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil and the Very European Couple of Antonio Cesaro and Aksana, as well as Kaitlyn, Ezekiel Jackson and Yoshi Tatsu.

WWE Legends Pack:
With the WWE Legends pack, relive past matches and create new matches against the current generation of Superstars with these nine Hall of Famers. Terrorize the WWE with the Eighth Wonder of the World, Andre the Giant. Give Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase a little parental advice and assistance from the American Dream, Dusty Rhodes and the Million Dollar Man, Ted DiBiase. Aid in the villianous Mr. McMahon's plots with his stooges, Gerald Brisco and Pat Patterson. Also includes Mr. Perfect, Ricky Steamboat, Roddy Piper and Terry Funk.

WWE Attitude Era Pack #1:
Turn it up with the WWE Attitude Era Pack #1. This pack of three trios features the hip-hopping Too Cool, Rikishi, Grand Master Sexay and Scotty 2 Hotty as well as the Holly cousins, Hardcore, Crash and Molly as well as Shane McMahon's old childhood friends, Joey Abs, Pete Gas and Rodney of the Mean Street Posse.

WWE Attitude Era Pack #2:
With the WWE Attitude Era Pack #2, play as more of your favorite past WWE Superstars. Long Live the King and play as Jerry Lawler, woo the ladies as the the Big Valbowski, Val Venis or play as the Evil, Indeed duo of Taka Michinoku and Funaki. The Headbangers, Mosh and Thrasher, join the party as well as Test, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn. Moppy not included.

WWE Attitude Era Pack #3:
WWE's Attitude Era Pack #3 continues the trend of amazing wrestlers to play in WWE '13, it's true, it's damn true! Face Jack Swagger and Ken Shamrock off against fellow Ankle Lock utilizer, Kurt Angle. Strengthen the Undertaker's Ministry with Viscera, Mideon and Gangrel. Play as the unlikely team of Al Snow and Steve Blackman, better known as Headcheese and show the divas whose number one with the veteran Ivory and the legendary Mae Young and Fabulous Moolah.

WWE Attitude Era Pack #4:
Finish off your already massive roster with WWE Attitude Era Pack #4. Dominate the tag team division with the daredevil Hardy Boyz, Jeff and Matt Hardy or with the dastardly duo of Buh Buh Ray and D-Von, the Dudley Boyz. Complete the D-X faction with the Ninth Wonder of the World, Chyna. Bring it on with D-Lo Brown, Bull Buchanan, Essa Rios and the duo of Marc Mero and Sable.

Mercenary 09-28-2012 11:27 AM

Not bad except thq will never have that much dlc

whiteyford 09-28-2012 11:55 AM

Everything bar the Attitude Era #4 pack I could see happening, even with half of #3 being under contract to TNA. Plus the Headbangers should be on the cover of this game with their own RTWM to boot.

Emperor Smeat 09-28-2012 01:09 PM

That is way too many wrestlers for THQ to work on but I could see them do a Legends, a Current/Modern, and an Attitude pack similar to last year having 3 main packs.

Kalyx triaD 09-28-2012 02:14 PM

Straight Attitude/Modern packs, imo.

Kalyx triaD 09-28-2012 02:17 PM

Try pack analogues to; like Ryback/Goldberg.

The Fugitive 09-28-2012 05:16 PM

Do agree with everyone, it's entirely too many new characters to add as DLC, last year only had 15, I think. Plus people tend to complain about characters being left out and added later online, if the equivalent of the existing roster was sold as additional DLC, I would certainly understand the cries of 'cutting out half the roster' for another cash-grab.

Appreciate the feedback, cheers. :)

What Would Kevin Do? 09-28-2012 05:36 PM

So Bryan WIlliams is randomly confirming a new move a day on twitter. Some are pretty awesome. He's confirmed the shining wizard, Orton's Elevated Neckbreaker, Snapmare driver, Kane's weird hand smother thing (BP Submission), Dibiase's Rebound Clothesline and his jumping knee (Busaiku knee, which is badass), and a Lasso from El Passo BP submission.

Fignuts 09-29-2012 01:02 AM

Fuck yeah, shining wizard and Busaiku Knee.

#BROKEN Hasney 09-29-2012 02:05 AM

A little disappointed by some of the entrances tbh. Cena gets his separate entrance for 2004 (which is fine) but then Attitude models of Eddie Guerrero and Big Show have incorrect recycled entrances.

I know they are easy enough to edit, but considering that 'Attitude' is the focal point of the game, they've really taken a few short cuts...

Fryza 10-03-2012 04:02 PM

Thought those DLC packs were real. Marked out so hard for Kai En Tai. Then saw they weren't real.

This year's Fan Axess DLC was revealed.

Quote:

Current Era: AJ Lee and Damien Sandow, Antonio Cesaro, Drew McIntyre, Layla, Natalya, Ryback, Tensai, Jimmy & Jey Uso, Yoshi Tatsu.

Attitude Era: Mike Tyson (pre-order bonus), Brian Pillman, Chainsaw Charlie (Terry Funk), Gangrel, Rikishi, Too Cool (Scotty 2 Hotty & Grandmaster Sexay), Ministry of Darkness Undertaker, Val Venis.

Also added to the DLC pack is Ministry Undertaker Attire, Brock Lesnar's Kimura Lock and John Cena's 2004 United States Spinner Title.

Kalyx triaD 10-03-2012 10:53 PM

Kalyx triaD 10-03-2012 10:54 PM

Because this game is hype as fuck.

Fignuts 10-04-2012 02:03 AM

Dude, I play Fire Pro. The models never factored in my decision to purchase this. I just thought it was funny how goofy they looked.

One nit pick: I understand why the kimura lock is dlc, as he didn't use it prominently til the build to summerslam, but Jericho's springboard dropkick? Come on man, that should be default.

Will get Fan axxess when I get this, so it doesn't affect me I guess. Just think it's weird.

Ministry Taker looks awesome, but I hope they also have his pimp ass hood w/ spiked sleeves from the last wrestlemania.

Skippord 10-04-2012 02:08 AM

much as I hate DLC conceptually I will still buy fan access when I buy this, DDP and Damien Sandow tag team

Fignuts 10-04-2012 02:13 AM

Even though he's kinda shitty, Gangrel has one of the best entrances of all time.

Wonder if you can bloodbath people.

Skippord 10-04-2012 02:15 AM

if you can't it's a missed opportunity

Ace 10-04-2012 02:17 AM

Apparently there are a whole bunch of alt. attires for current and Attitude wrestlers as standard unlockables. Makes me curious as to who gets them/ what they'll be.

Pretty much the best games concept and DLC WWE have had in a very long time.

James Steele 10-04-2012 02:30 AM

Since they introduced superstar threads, I've always made one alt. attire for 99 HHH (darker trunks and gold/ metallic print) and 2 attires from 2003/04 when he was doing the Flair-esque colour changes/ white boots.

Frank Drebin 10-04-2012 07:42 AM

Cudos to THQ for the DLC characters. Thought newer guys like ryback would get shitty DLC models, like, 6 months from now like they did with Brodus for 12, and cesaro would never make it.

The lineup looks great and you never know if they throw in a surprise before the release.

I really really hope universe got some much needed upgrades as I can't wait to throw these guys into it and see what happens.

Disturbed316 10-04-2012 08:39 AM

Whoa, I don't normally get the dlc for WWE games but after seeing that trailer I think I will. Far better than anything they have put out before.

#BROKEN Hasney 10-04-2012 08:42 AM

Looks alright, but as Universe and Creation Center servers are the only things I use over the long term, I'll wait to hear how they are considering how much of an abortion they were in 12.

Ermaximus 10-04-2012 08:43 AM

WWE 12 had the worst online servers ever. I still to this day can't download a CAW without that shit crashing.

And hopefully, there's a key you can hit in Character Selection that binds an alternative attire as 'default'.

Haven't found any information with my Google-fu, but don't suppose anyone knows what limit we're looking at for CAW numbers this year. I suspect it's still 50, but I'm hoping to be wrong.

Drakul 10-04-2012 10:34 AM

As far as CAW, all I want now is all the CAWs on the system, not just my Gamertag, playable. Hate not being able to pit my guys against my brothers guys and it's the main reason I barely even touch CAW now.
We're playing on the same console, we're both logged into our Gamertags. What's the problem?

Doubt they'll have fixed that now or ever.

Fignuts 10-04-2012 10:46 AM

If they would only have more CAW slots.

Tommy Gunn 10-04-2012 01:36 PM

Details on Universe mode have been scarce, makes me wonder if they are just using the same system again, in which case, I'll look forward to seeing guys I feud with turning up at ringside with a ticket, as well as matches being restarted once a show into FCA / Submission matches.

The dlc models look better than Paul Wright, and whatever the hell HHH and HBK are.

Emperor Smeat 10-04-2012 02:26 PM

Don't think its been mentioned before but the Season Pass has gone up in price from last year's $12 to now a $20 price tag.

Kalyx triaD 10-04-2012 05:10 PM

Whoa.

Are you kidding me? You have to BUY Chris Jericho's Lionsault? Jericho is in the game, but for whatever reason they decided not to give him one of his signature moves?

Fignuts 10-04-2012 09:09 PM

And his springboard dropkick. Thats what triangle dropkick is, I assume.

Not bothered by the price of the pass, as there seems to be a lot more dlc this year.

Ermaximus 10-04-2012 10:35 PM

Planning a huge story involving RYBACK where he is more or less the WWE version of Majin Buu. He'll work his way up the roster starting with the lowest jobber and eventually past all the main event guys. To make it more DBZ style after he beats someone, he will consume them somehow and that wrestler will vanish from the game until there is nobody left but divas. Then of course he'll face the legends and consume them too before facing Taker at WM and ending the streak and consuming him. It'll end with RYBACK as the ultimate champion of the WWE with every title until Kharma defeats him with a Spirit Bomb and frees the WWE.

Fryza 10-05-2012 01:26 AM

Then you remember you can't have Divas wrestling male opponents, so you'll substitute Kharma for Mark Henry in a corset/dress combo and a wig.

This attire will fool everyone, including Mark Henry.

Tommy Gunn 10-05-2012 04:42 AM

I'd love to make one of those 'overpriced DLC is destroying games' posts, but, I can't be arsed.

I'll wait for WWE 13 to drop to half price, which won't take long, to make up the fact I'll be paying a lot more money to get the DLC season pass. At least THQ are doing a good job keeping the roster more up to date.

Ultra Mantis 10-05-2012 07:05 AM

Omega Driver DLC? THQ loves Chuck Taylor.

I think I is as that's what is was called in HCTP, I also think that Flapjack/Cutter is the 3D as that is what it is(D-Von with the Flapjack and Bubba Ray with the Cutter).

Ermaximus 10-05-2012 11:01 AM

I just realized I can have Cena portray Goku in my story. RYBACK can beat regular PG era Cena, but Cena escapes and then "goes SSJ" and turns into the Dr. of Thuganomics. He still loses, but it gives us something different. Hell, I could do the same with HHH, except he'd clearly be Vegeta. Blue Blood--> Triple H--> DX HHH.

Ace 10-05-2012 11:06 AM

Delayed vertical suplex bodyslam is most likely the Jackhammer. Which along with the 3D, Lionsault and springboard dropkick, we've had regularly before... But can't complain tbh. There's a lot of great stuff both in game and DLC this year.

Drakul 10-05-2012 11:10 AM

What's the move called where you'd do a suplex motion but you'd turn it into a kind of neckbreaker, with your opponents neck resting on your shoulder, while you held his legs. You'd then jump and land on your butt but damaging the opponent. It was in Wrestlemania 2000/No Mercy, I think, and a bunch of Smackdown games but then they removed it.
Hoping they add that again as it was the finisher of a regular character of mine.

The Jayman 10-05-2012 11:12 AM

the muscle buster?

Drakul 10-05-2012 11:14 AM

Almost exactly but it wasn't a slam. You jumped up and landed on your butt instead of slamming them on their back.
