Will you need to download more than 10 CAWs a day?

Everything counts towards the 10 downloads, not just CAWs. Arenas,movesets, logos, everything. For those that like to set up Promotions like TNA, ECW, WCW, etc. in their Universe, it's kind of a pain in the ass.

To be fair, I would rather be able to download 10x a day rather than damn near NEVER. Servers ALWAYS fucking took forever and would sometimes time out in previous releases. Hopefully this will curb some of that.

Perhaps after they see how stable things are/aren't, they can make adjustments as needed.

Super Wrestlemania sucked because there were no finishers. Rumble sucked cause when you played your friends no one would win, because it was all based on mashing.

Raw was the best WWF SNES rasslin game,cause it had finishers, and wrestlers health affected their ability to win mashes.

The bad news: Each alternate attire you create takes up a CAW slot. Not great since there are only 25.

Actually, the increase in quality of CAWs is why there is only 25 slots, according to 2k. They said being on a new system, and still figuring things out, they were only able to stretch the available slots so far while making the CAWs look as close to in game superstars as possible. They say as they become more knowledgable about developing on the console they'll be able to put more slots in future games.

If that's true, then in the long run it could be worth it. Still sucks in the now, and we'll have to wait until the game comes out to see if it was really worth it.

And paint tool is being replaced with....something.

It's still odd that they can go from 100 CAW slots last year(which was added that year) to 25 this year, unless 25 is for current gen and last gen still has 100 which I guess doesn't really matter to me as I didn't get to play it as much I liked and only used somewhere between 6-10 slots.

Also, maybe someone who has knowledge of game developing can tell me how save slots are connected to model quality. I mean, wouldn't that be tied to the hard drive.

<font color=goldenrod>The current gen consoles (particularly PS4) have a retarded amount of disk space. Regardless of the uptick in CAW quality I'm having a hard time believing they couldn't have fit more. I would have been perfectly happy with 50, as that's what we had for years before 2k14.

With 25...what can you do? Updated Rollins, Ambrose. Stardust. The few main roster guys left out. You can't even fill out the entire NXT roster.

In 2k14 I had the whole main roster, NXT, TNA, ROH, WCW, ECW, practically everything. If I got bored with one roster, I could activate a different one in universe. It was excellent. Here I can't do that.

Like I said I'll grab the game when it's used but at a $60 price point I fear I'll get bored very fast not being able to customize my game the way I did last year.</font>

NXT Mode is fun if you watch NXT. Except for Michael Cole and King doing the commentary. It's off like when JR did Michael Cole's line when Foley won the WWE Title on Raw in Worcester. They're stealing lines from Regal, Tom Phillips and Byron Sexton and it feels off. Really odd.

So far somewhat enjoyed CM Punk/Cena rivalry. They skip way too much of Punk's dominance as WWE Champion. They only have one match with Daniel Bryan (tag with cena vs. bryan/big show) after Money in the Bank '12 and no Jericho. Also you play as Ryback in Hell in the Cell. Seems dumb to play as somebody not even in the rivalry aspect of the game.

Haven't tried any of Triple H/HBK. That should be epic so I want to save that one for as long as possible. Crank out the "Fight" theme song from SummerSlam 02 and mark the fuck out.

I've successfully beaten John Cena as every NXT guy now. Take that game making Zayn so low ranked.

AFter doing a little more research, it seems that create-an-entrance is still in, but they removed a TON of animations.

Of course they left in stupid shit like "talking on the phone" and took out all the more generic ones that might be useful. Hope this is just for last gen.

Feel like we haven't gotten any really good news about this game in a while, so this was a welcome new feature.

Now what I want to know is if Superstar Threads is still in the game, or if basic color swaps will have to be done in Edit mode, and therefore take up CAWs spots. I like to have different color options for wrestlers that frequently use different color attires, and looking at the roster there are a lot of guys like that. But if it uses a CAW slot, I'll pretty much be stuck with the defaults, since even if I didn't make any CAWs, there's not enough room for all the alternate attires you can make.

I can deal with the limitations so far but this would make the new edit mode not worth it in my opinion. I know fans have wanted it for a long time, but if having it means giving up so much, than I'd rather wait a year til they can explore the console's capabilities better, and be able to implement it in a better way.

Game Informer rated the PS3 version a 7, which seems moderately generous, especially when their minimum score threshold for any game they review to be considered "recommended" by them is 7.5 (you'd think it'd be at least 8 but it's not).

I'm being sarcastic. I made a diva named Jessica from the Wii version. I used Redbox to rent it. Coming from a Wii to 360, my learning curve is slightly different than most.

The graphics are okay. I always used to say that is the game didn't do the Divas well, then the game is garbage. The did some of the Divas well; Cameron and AJ look good, others, like Naomi, has too much issues with lighting.

The lack of a deep create an entrance is messed up. I enjoyed the CAW experience overall because my CAW looks better.

The commentary is passible, but the more popular the wrestler, the more things they will say about him. And I found some bugs in the hour I played it (I watched Lucha Underground), but it didn't detract from my experience.

I'll get 2k14 first and rent 2k15 to build my CAW, so if I buy the game, I can hit the ground running.

The Jessica Rabbit thing sounds like a good idea though.

According to Visual Concepts studio, the main reason why a bunch of stuff is missing from WWE 2k15 is because they spent too much time working on Superstar Studio and not having a real plan on what would be included in the game. Played a big role in why 2K wasn't willing to discuss much about the game before it was released.

Sucks about create-an-arena, but at this point I can accept the "quality over quantity" reasoning, as long as they can back it up.

According to some people with early copies of the PS4 version, it doesn't support the new Share Play feature (ability to share a single copy of a game with friends online).

Also rumors/speculation that editing superstars on the PS4 and Xbox One might end up causing 2 CAW spots to be taken up instead of the previously assumed one spot.

They didn't do a great job making Triple h/HBK seem important. They had ALOT of bullshit filler matches.

Almost every match in the Punk/Cena thing was a main event caliber match.

Some really random stuff removed, the no count out stuff and one on one ladder match in particular.

These issues could be fixed with a patch. Just wishful thinking here.

If I'm not mistaken, 2k did a bit better job at patching 2k14 than thq ever did, so it's not that unlikely.

A full fledged Create-A-Match mode could render a long list of pre-set match choices moot, so this could be a change to a more streamlined menu anyway. Like Halo, just make and save match types. There were already elements of match editing in past games, I think this would be the logical step.

Let's have us an 60min Iron Man Fatal Four-Way Ladder Match. With Countout.

I'd guess they removed a lot of the matches as they didn't have time to implement their new stamina system in the way they'd have liked. Can imagine them making a big deal out of your wrestler struggling to climb the ladder.

Actually yes I can. I mean it's the first I thought about when they talked about bringing stamina back. Matches that usually trail on ('Epic' type matches, Ladder, Iron Man, etc) would be rightfully impacted by a stamina system. A wrestler should struggle to climb a ladder after 30mins of monkey spots.

We know who the real villains are here; WWE.

If they allowed 2K the time they needed we'd probably have a fantastic Ladder Match (and a bunch of other stuff).

Yeah this year's version issues has a lot to do with the WWE although Yukes probably would still find a way to mess up like past years. 2K should really consider doing a "Call of Duty" style for the series with multiple studios so that Yuke and Visual Concepts get at least an extra year's of worth per game.

New consoles are very difficult to develop with. Wen you only have a year to put the game out, that makes it even worse.The same thing happens with all the annual sports franchises. NHL 15 had a bunch of stuff removed as well.

It takes a couple years for devs to really unlock the potential of a system and get the most out of it.

2k says they are building from the ground up and that combined with the console being relatively new, means they had to sacrifice some things to improve the foundation of the series, and that features that were cut would return in the the future when they are more familiar with the console.

Whether that's true, I dunno. We've seen companies exclude stuff to bring it back as a "new feature" in a later version, but there is just too much removed for that to be the case.

We won't know for sure until 2k16, to see if all this was worth it.
