Actually, I proposed Cena actually playing the sell-out rapper before. Me and someone else, maybe Xero, bounced ideas back and wforther where developmental or smalltime wrestlers would form his posse, and he would be a heel who is better than you because he's rich, successful, and he's got protection.

It's not so much the idea of the actual Chain Gang that made me ask those questions, but the people that he proposed. Giving him some developmental talent as a posse would be awesome if he were working a heel gimmick and had them interfere in his matches, attack his opponents backstage, etc.

Yeah, but the basic idea is sound. So there was probably SOME level of thought involved.
