So I met this girl

I found out she actually watches wrestling and she hates John Cena.

is... this feeling... love? :'(

The One 02-28-2007 10:15 PM

I only know women who never watch wrestling and yet somehow all know and love John Cena... :-/

Ninti the Mad 02-28-2007 10:18 PM

She also likes Edge, Nitro, Eddie Guerrero(RIP), Stone Cold, and La Parka!

Ninti the Mad 02-28-2007 10:18 PM

If she could be brainwashed to like KHALI, I would ask her to marry me.

Bad Company 02-28-2007 10:23 PM

She is prob a dude in disguise. Too good to be true.

Ninti the Mad 02-28-2007 10:29 PM

Theo Dious 02-28-2007 10:29 PM

I dated a girl for three and a half years who was into wrestling and thought that Cena sucked. She fucked off and left me without a word to my face. My suggestion: masturbate until the urges go away.

Ninti the Mad 02-28-2007 10:33 PM

Yeah, my last ex hated Cena as well.

Jura 02-28-2007 10:45 PM

Is that your criteria for future girlfriends now? Wrestling fan + Hates John Cena? lol and boobs

Ninti the Mad 02-28-2007 10:54 PM

Yes.

Ninti the Mad 02-28-2007 10:54 PM

King Steve 03-01-2007 09:52 AM

A lot of girls I know don't even find Cena attractive at all.

XL 03-01-2007 09:55 AM

I've actually managed to convert my girlfriend into a wrestling fan!

She had one of those usual attitudes that girls (at least good looking ones) have towards it...

"It's childish"
"What's the point?"
"You know it's fake right?"
"It's just mindless violence!"

But, she admitted to me the other day that she was actually starting to enjoy it!!

It's akin to Hitler deciding to convert to Judaism!

Then she went and said that she liked John Cena cos "he seems like a nice guy" :( then again I don't hate him so I guess I'll let it fly and try and make her see sense somewhere down the line.

So I guess what I'm saying is...if you find a girl that you like that also likes wrestling stick with her if not (super)kick her to the curb.

Well I LIKE Cena, I just don't like him with the title for the better part of 2 years, I don't like his current style of push, I don't like his place as the focus of the company. He's a great guy and he has a place in the company, but it's not where he currently is.

Rammsteinmad 03-01-2007 10:38 AM

Seems to good to be true. I'd be lucky to find any female wrestling fans around here.

TerranRich 03-01-2007 11:27 AM

Congratulations, Ninti! You've found the one girl on Earth who does NOT love John Cena more than chocolate.

.44 Magdalene 03-01-2007 11:33 AM

My girlfriend dislikes John Cena and has D cups FTW

She dislikes Booker T, though, and that's no good.

Then do what I did...convert them.

Here's how you do it:

1) Fnd a hot girl that you like
2) Start going out with her
3) After a year or so finally admit to being a wrestling fan
4) Put up with her criticizing wrestling/you everytime you have it on
5) Persevere through all the "You're so sad" and "Are like 10 years old?" comments, continuing to watch wrestling whilst she's around
6) Eventually she'll start seeing things your way (or dump you)

Hold on!

Forget all that!

I just realised how I did it!

Most the time when I watch wrestling it's late at night and she used to go to sleep. It's subconscious conditioning!!

Try it!

Outsider 03-01-2007 01:28 PM

My g/f watches wrestling with me sometimes (not by choice). Best thing she said yet was while watching TNA:

"This ones not as good as the other one."

What, are you tying her up and making her? I never thought of that.

Isn't that the same thing that Vince said about TNA?

TerranRich 03-01-2007 03:25 PM

I got my wife into wrestling...and Star Trek: Voyager as well. Soon, I'll get her "into" buttsex and three-ways.

Theo Dious 03-01-2007 03:47 PM

Wouldn't the whole notion of buttsex be more a matter of you getting yourself into youALLAYALALLAYALAAYALALALLALALALALAAAAAA!

Wow, sometimes being Hassan'd is a good thing.

Stickman 03-01-2007 03:53 PM

My gf hates wrestling and loves Cena. WHy am i with her

I must assume she provides you with satisfactory physical compensations and that you are unsure of your ability to adequately replace that.

TerranRich 03-01-2007 04:10 PM

LMAO ^

Yeah, I was just kidding above. She's already into buttsex...but not three-ways. Go fig.

And I do the Hassaning around here, boy!

Theo Dious 03-01-2007 04:12 PM

Is she "into" it, or does she "allow" it? And do you realize that you just called a black man "boy?"

Ninti the Mad 03-01-2007 04:26 PM

You aint my boy?

Xero 03-01-2007 04:27 PM

Is she a smark?

Are there such things as female smarks?

(Or smarts for that matter...)

Ninti the Mad 03-01-2007 04:30 PM

She is not part of the internet wrestling community.

Female smarks are generally referred to as groupies, or lesbians.

So where would Chyna land in that gamut?

Theo Dious 03-01-2007 04:38 PM

Be real, we all know that Chyna is a man.

TerranRich 03-01-2007 09:29 PM

DarthTedious is black? Where was that established in TPWW canon?

Nah, j/k didn't mean any racism or anything. I was just saying, I do the Hassaning around here. Don't make me do it. Srsly

Theo Dious 03-01-2007 11:58 PM

Established? Well, I'ev only really been posting for a few days due to extreme boredom at work... so I guess we're establishing it now. And given that I have a huge sense of humor about everything down to race, nobody needs to worry about offending anyone. But I do like to respond with sarcastic knee-jerk reactions to things like people using words like "boy" who obviously aren't being racist (I do it all the time to watch people refuse to believe they heard it.)
Fun fact: I'm actually 15/16ths black and 1/16th white.

Ninti the Mad 03-02-2007 01:48 AM

cracker!

NoJabbaNoBogRoll 03-02-2007 02:04 AM

My girlfriend likes wrestling and John Cena.

She can often be heard saying:

'You can't see me.'

'Everybody listen... Ha-Ha... To me!'

'WOOOOOOOOOOOO!'

'HOO-RA!'

Shaggy 03-02-2007 02:11 AM

Back in highschool I got this girl I used to hang out with into wrestling. This was back before the Cena era.... She liked Billy Kidman, Jeff Hardy and Evan Karagious....hmmm...I wonder what happened to Evan Karagious

everyone thats not a wrestling fan and/or black, seems to dislike Booker T. From my experience. They find him "boring" and say "he sucks"

The One 03-02-2007 04:27 AM

I remember this girl back in High School who LOVED Kevin Nash...I wonder what ever happened to her?

She was last seen portraying Shelton Benjamin's Momma on Raw.

I've always like Booker T but I can't stand this king gimmick. It grew on me for a while but I still don't like it and I wish he had gotten his title run without it.

Jeritron 03-02-2007 10:38 AM

I'm just glad he got a title run. The King gimmick is very cheesy and reminiscent of something from the midcard in the early 90s. Nonetheless, Booker lent credibility and comedy to it and it was pretty entertaining as well as being a solid heel champion in the main event. At times he was rofl.

Either way, now that he's not champion and the KOTR tournament was a year ago I say its time to move on with him. It'd be great to see him turn face by something big happening, and him being like "tell me, you didn't just say that" and dropping the olde english.
Then perhaps he could get another push as regular Booker T.
Now, Can you dig THAT, sucka?

Jura 03-02-2007 10:39 AM

What is 2+2 Booker T? It's Thomas Jefferson Suckaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

Theo Dious 03-02-2007 10:54 AM

[QUOTE=Jeritron]The King gimmick is very cheesy and reminiscent of something from the midcard in the early 90s.[QUOTE]

Hey, Jerry Lawler, Harley Race, Randy Savage, and Owen Hart all did a lot for themselves with the whole "King" gimmick. Booker is actually doing it so well that I wonder what'll become of him when it's time for a new KOTR tournament.

King Steve 03-02-2007 10:55 AM

Don't forget King Mabel. I seriously don't like Booker as king though, I'd much rather him just be Booker T again.

Jeritron 03-02-2007 11:06 AM

yea, all of those were early 90s or earlier. King Kurt did it too, but it was only for small jokes and to garner a little heat.
In any case, none of them did it in the manner of King Booker. He took it to an extreme.

Jeritron 03-02-2007 11:08 AM

great use of quotes teedious, fucked up so badly it even carried over into my post haha

King Steve 03-02-2007 11:09 AM

It seems to do that whenever someone deletes part of the quote in it for some reason.

Theo Dious 03-02-2007 11:13 AM

Which is cool, really, because he's doing a similar thing in a recently-unused tradition. The others didn't speak in the same way, or have an Englishman demanding that the crowds pay him homage, or an Irishman for an enforcer, and only one had a queen. You wouldn't have bought that stuff from most of those guys, but Booker T has already been established as a guy who can be a little goofy and will still be taken seriously by most people. Hell if GI Bro didn't kill him, delusions of monarchy certainly won't.

.44 Magdalene 03-02-2007 05:24 PM

I like the King gimmick. I think it's funny as hell, but I can see where other people are coming from.

King Steve 03-02-2007 05:34 PM

I call gimmick infringement.

I liked it too. It was great. I just feel that its starting to get old. A thing like that runs its course, and since it's going on a year, I think it's time to drop it. It just doesn't work as well when he's not champion.

She has most likely been stalking you for many years and has built up a data base on your likes/dislkes.
She wants to wear your skin.. not in the ";naughty:" way either.

sup?
