Ah, I see. I missed that. This is probably tasteless of me to say, but I couldn't give a fuck about the Benoit shit now, so I've stopped following it. I did see a headline about Benoit's doctor facing indictment, though, so I'm assuming this came from there.

If the WWE gets pissed with Rey, they'll probably just put him in the mid-card somewhere. The cruiserweight division seems logical, as he has the pedigree to really help out there, and make the title look like it means something (it could be argued that a cruiserweight should see the Cruiserweight Championship as being even more valuable than a World Title).

I've never been a big Rey Mysterio fan, but I'll admit he has talent, and he deserves the spotlight more than a lot of the other guys the WWE pushes, but I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

I'm sure someone will care, and I believe I speak for the people who grew up on the WWF when I say these two simple words....

Rey is a huge attraction in WWE because of the Spanish audience. With the main event roster so lacking right now, they need Mysterio to come back strong.

I like Rey, but the idea of him being in a World Title program makes me cringe. Plus I didn't agree with his 'thrust him to the top to help him get over Eddie' push.

If he doesn't come back I won't care really, as I think he's peaked achievement-wise. But perhaps he can help put over guys like MVP.

The WWE won't fire Rey. The WWE doesn't fear TNA, but they certainly don't want Rey Mysterio to end up in Florida with Kurt Angle, The LAX, etc. I can only really see them de-pushing him.
