K so are we going to have some sort of NHL tournament?
Since all of us who have been playing thought it would be a hot idea, I figure we might as well start some discussion on it. I remember Kapoutman saying that he could put up a page on Kapoutland or something for it, which would be hella cool.
Basically I'm not sure how it would work. We could just do it like a "play-offs" type thing, have best-of-7 series with people and all that. How the matches are determined, I have no idea (hence the thread for discussing possibilities). So yes. Before everything, if you're interested, reply here so we'll have a good idea of how many people will actually be involved. I'd assume there'd be roughly 8-12 or so, maybe more, depending. So maybe we can get a lot of people, then somehow determine who the top 8 are, and go from there. SO YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, reply here if you're interested, and give some suggestions of how it should be run and whatnot. |

Yeah Dave, that's the one I'm on. I think the other one that Ant has (like 600 mb or something) actually has sound. The one I have (219 mb) has the sound, but no music. Or commentary.

K for the rules that's nothing too much to discuss really. Is everybody cool with how that's set? I think having line changes on is better too (but certainly up to debate and for a vote amongst everyone), as it gives teams with a less-than-stellar top line a better chance to compete against say, Vancouver. Also, I think that the manual/auto shot aim should be personal preference, as it only really affects the players' ability, and not the game itself. Also, Straka > Naslund SO HIT ME UP WITH SOME THOUGHTS PEOPLE. Also, keep replying, to those who are interested and haven't said anything yet. |

i would like no ties in the overtime, continuous 5-on-5 would work well i presume

icing - dumping the puck in from your side of the middle red line and it going all the way down to behind the net resulting in a defenseman from the opposing team touching it
offside - when one of your teammates without the puck goes into the opposing zone and you enter with the puck after them |

all you need to do to play with us is click Online Mode, then connect to the IP or create a new game, depending on who's doing what

just a suggestion but if we actually have this many people perhaps we should have like an A side and a B side tourny... like just one random game against another person in the tourny... the Winner goes to A side loser goes to B side
then the winner of the A side plays the winner of the B side in the finals. |

the way it's gonna work is just like I was saying with the A-side and B-side what's going to happen is im gonna randomly pick games to decide the A-side and B-side.. winners of there first games go to a-side losers go to B-side... the finals will be the tops teams from each side. the third place game will be between Number 2 on the a-side and number 2 on the B-side... any questions let me know. |

Yeah Anaheim aren't really that good, they are an underdog team that kick ass btw :o Although their goalie Giguere is the man, as is their main center Mr. Federov :love: I'd say the best teams are Detroit, Colorado, Vancouver, Dallas, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Tampa Bay, St. Louis, Ottawa Then you have Boston and Toronto who are statistically good, but ghey in real life :shifty: |
