The Jeff Hardy trial starts tomorrow

From PWInsider:

Jeff Hardy's trial is set to begin tomorrow in Moore County, NC. Hardy is facing charges of felony possession of cocaine, felony drug trafficking of opium, two counts of felony possession with intent to redistribute a Schedule III controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for drug use and/or distribution and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, stemming from his September 2009 arrest at his home.

If I were him I'd be more concerned about whether or not the Judge knows about the two counts of appearing on Impact

Heyo!

Nicky Fives 03-16-2010 07:23 PM

I honestly hope he serves jail time..... it would give CM Punk more promo material :shifty:

Shaved Monkey 03-16-2010 07:25 PM

Is this his first arrest? If it is I can't help but feel he's going to just get probation/community service here.

Supreme Olajuwon 03-16-2010 07:26 PM

Really hope Jeff beats the rap... for the children.

Anybody Thrilla 03-16-2010 07:30 PM

He had a felonious amount of cocaine too? I thought I remembered reading there there were just traces or something.

dronepool 03-16-2010 08:04 PM

Good luck to him.

KIRA 03-16-2010 08:20 PM

Hope for the best.

Quote of the week!

Innovator 03-16-2010 08:49 PM

For the wrestling business's sake, I hope he gets some jail time.

Between him and Umaga's death, I hope everyone will get off the pill crap

KayfabeMan 03-16-2010 09:08 PM

They'll never get off the drugs.

Doesn't matter who dies or goes to jail.

It's just the way they function; sad.

Jeritron 03-16-2010 10:01 PM

As Jeff Hardy enters the courtroom, he will be elated to see the Honorable Judge presiding is....

KayfabeMan 03-16-2010 10:05 PM

LoL. :)

VSG 03-16-2010 10:47 PM

Lol but you bet Special Olympics fan judge would be kinder! Anyway I hope the jury treats him as a common man and not their kid's hero..

Volare 03-17-2010 02:05 AM

Moore Country Courthouse is only 25-30 minutes from Fayetteville NC where I live. I'm trying to get my buddy to go with me to see his court case, just to see who else shows up.

KayfabeMan 03-17-2010 02:49 AM

If you go, take pictures.

KayfabeMan 03-17-2010 02:50 AM

They may be the last photos of a free Jeff Hardy we get before he goes to jail.

St. Jimmy 03-17-2010 04:43 AM

I hope the judge throws the book at him.

Four felony counts.... Dude is definitely being someone's prison mistress. I like Jeff and we all know that those pill were for "personal use only..." but a part of me says the law is the law and if he wasn't a "wrassler" his ass would have never made bail anyways.

The most nervous person of all this isn't Jeff, his fiance Beth, or his brother Matt.... it's Shannon Moore representing the freaks.

The happiest person? Linda McMahon. If he got busted while still active on the WWE roster her campaign would be over.

Londoner 03-17-2010 09:59 AM

I bet CM punk is feeling so smug right now.

James Diesel 03-17-2010 10:45 AM

I wonder if Punk took the day off to catch this event.
Maybe he offers the jury some pepsi :shifty:

Xero 03-17-2010 11:28 AM

Better be Pepsi Throwback.

Pepsi Man :(

Gertner 03-18-2010 12:19 AM

Shadow will probably be standing outside the court room dressed as Jeff Hardy with a "Free Jeff Hardy".

Mike Adamle will echo Shadow's statement by yelling " yeah, free Jeff Harvey!"

Shadow 03-18-2010 03:13 AM

Yeah I'm on the other side of the country so that'd just be stupid.

Kinda like you!

mike adamle 03-18-2010 03:21 AM

Yeah, free Jeff Harvey!

owenbrown 03-18-2010 03:30 AM

FREE HAT!

James Diesel 03-18-2010 06:29 AM

Also, Yellow Shirt Fan will be out there ready to be unimpressed when Hardy gets jail time.

(MB69RATEDR will be sucking YSF's nub)

:wtf:

Jimmy Cones 03-18-2010 06:57 AM

I wish Punk was the judge. Why hasn't Punk been elected into some sort of office yet? Screw Linda's campaign.

Gertner 03-18-2010 08:42 AM

Shadow will be there in spirit.

Xero 03-18-2010 03:04 PM

From PWInsider:

Prowrestling.net reported this afternoon that Jeff Hardy's trial was pushed back after the defense requested a continuance. That request was granted and the new trial date is 5/10.

PWInsider.com has independently confirmed that report with the Superior Court of Moore County, NC.

Gertner 03-18-2010 03:29 PM

Shadow got dressed up in glow in the dark face paint for nothing.

St. Jimmy 03-18-2010 04:09 PM
