What's the gimmick for this PPV?

Wait, Does every PPV literally have a gimmick now?

That's what people are assuming. Since Over The Limit doesn't seem to have one, everyone is wondering what it will be.

I think there will be a gimmick, every PPV has one except Wrestlemania and Summerlsam.

Hmmm. I can't think of anything. Maybe matches being timed and something related to "over-time"

Yeah I get your point, but really how much sense does it make to not make this a gimmicked PPV?

The November PPV is still "TBD" so that might be gimmick-less, too. I really hope that Fatal Fourway doesn't have every match as a fatal fourway. That would be terrible.

If they don't have a gimmick then there's not much they can do about that. They're probably just settling on going with a new name.
They have a Fatal Four Way PPV. They are pretty much using every gimmick they can, and it seems to come out one PPV short.
They'd probably call it First Blood if it weren't for refraining from blood.

I wish they would have kept Survivor Series and made June KOTR like Ermax said and July War Games :D

I would LOVE it if WWE would take the time to make King of The Ring, and Survivor Series important again, just build up the fucking matches and make them good.

It would be great to have a "team" PPV before Summerslam, so you don't have to blow any loads on singles matches that could be big at Summerslam. Kinda like RR and Elimation Chamber before Wrestlemania.

Jan: Royal Rumble
Feb: Elimination Chamber
Mar: Wrestlemania
Apr: Extreme Rules
May: Money In The Bank
Jun: _______ IYH. No real gimmick or permenant name. Switch it up. Fully Loaded, etc.
Jul: King of The Ring
Aug: Summerslam
Sep: Night of Champions
Oct: Halloween Havoc
Nov: Survivor Series (w/War Games. I don't think they'd want to name a PPV that)
Dec: TLC

Left Hell in a Cell out, because although I like TLC and MITB as their own PPVs, HIAC seems one step too far. Better off saving the gimmick for when it's worthy.
I like the way TLC was handled, and MITB has the potential to be KOTR style event annually. Elimination Chamber is a good gimmick PPV too since it falls between Rumble and Mania and they make good use of it booking-wise.

Every match on the card will go over the 10 minute time limit.

They'll bring that shitty Championship Scramble match back, or have Beat the Clock sprints or sthn.

That would be great minus the Diva's match

I could see this, to be honest. They're the one gimmick they haven't overdone yet.
