Anyone having PS3 problems?
 

The other day I downloaded an update for my PS3 and since then its been freezing and taking forever to do everything. I only use my PS3 maybe 1/10th of the time I use my xbox but I hate that everytime I try to watch a movie on it or something it starts to freeze up while loading the main PS3 menu.

Is anyone else having this problem or know of a way to fix it. Im to the point where I pretty much want to return my PS3 because of it.

nope playing little big planet demo right now and am downloading a heavy rain demo just fine. also just finished playing final fight.

just started happenign to me to bro. trying to watch a tv show and it keeps stopping for some reason. if i click X it starts working again but it keeps happening like every 60 seconds. fucking annoying as hell.

every other game is working though

Before you send it Destor, try diagnostic mode to see if it's a software problem on the drive. While the PS3 is of, hold the power button down until you get 3 beeps, then release, then hold down for 3 beeps again.

no, I also barely use it and left it on over the weekend when I left (by accident).

No problems but I`m always affraid of mine fucking up...

Just replaced a bluray drive for a guy. His launch 60gb just stopped reading blu-ray anything.

I'll probably take the broken one apart later and fiddle with it.

Yea mine seems to always freeze up...I downloaded that wake boarding demo off the network and everytime my character jumps the game freezes for a second like its thinking.

I really doubt anyone else is having this problem. Tomorow im gonna try a game in it and if the problem is happening on games then I am definently returning it. Good thing my wife actually purchased the extended warranty.

already did that hasney it didnt work. and sadly sony doesnt repair consoles out side of warrenty...no matter how much you offer...the cunts.
