Your favorite storyline "device".
if that's the right word for it. What is one of your favorite reoccurring acts during the feud of a typical wrestling storyline?
My favorite is as follows.To this day, I love it when a heel is in the ring running down a face, then he bravely "calls him out"; the face wrestler's music hits, but instead of the said wrestler coming out, it is instead either: A.) A very out of shape guy playing the part of the face. B.) A midget dressed up like the face. Afterward, either a "beat down" of the imposter takes place, or the face comes out and makes a save. I remember Jericho had a great one of these in WCW against a Goldberg fake I think. Another one I remember clearly for some reason is when the fat guy from Mad TV played Stone Cold. Other fun versions of this same thing are when the wrestlers themselves dress up as their opponent, a couple examples being HBK dressing up as Hogan and CM Punk doing Jeffy Hardy. What are some of yours? |

I remember when somebody used the Dudley Midgets and put them through a table. I believe it was E&C as they did the same thing to the Hardys if memory serves?

Undertaker's feud with Shawn/DX where druids bring out the casket and out pops Taker.... actually any storyline with Taker and a casket is good shit... except for when Mark Henry's fat ass is involved.

either someone dressing up as their opponent, the la parka bit ddp did vs macho man or the gauntlet storyline when the face has to beat many heels or chronies of the main heel to get to him. e.g. undertaker vs jbl and stone cold vs vince mcmahon, idk who else did that storyline device.
