Those moves are horrible, unnecessary, and really dangerous.

I dunno, if those are his "highlights," then I'm not impressed. At least half of those moves looked like botches. And some of his moves have ridiculous setups.

His neck-breaker DDTs do look pretty dangerous, I agree but, hey, so are regular DDTs, brain-busters, piledrivers etc.

I think he's got a unique and entertaining style which is why I chose him for the anti-Evans thread.

The Chikara style is just so retarded to watch, it's just acrobatics and stunts. That's not what wrestling is about. Those kinds of moves were impressive once upon a time but ROH grew out of that style and left it to yard tards turned "pro".

Why the hell do all of those moves have an extreme amount of unnecessary movement? It's totally unrealistic, might as well be watching two kids on a trampoline.

We don't need "innovative" wrestling moves, smart wrestling is so much better.

I'll even use a Cena example, like the duct tape, or splashing water in Big Dave's face to wake him up so he could make him say "I Quit"... that is so much more entertaining and creative than flilipino flip flops, and cancun chaos, or whatever stupid name somebody has created for their version of a reversal of a DDT/Ace Crusher/Back/Neckbreaker....

I think acrobatics have a place in wrestling, but only if they make a move look more effective. My example of this is the 450 splash. That little tumble makes it look like a wrestler hits his opponent with much greater force than just a normal splash, therefore it is effective.

Anyways, professional wrestling is no longer accepted (even by a tiny minority) to be real. So many people see wrestling as something they could do if they really wanted. However wrestling is, above all, a performance.

Ever go to the circus? Ever see that hippie acrobat shit, cirque du solei?

They are performers who do flashy, complex and unique athletic feats. I want to be amazed and entertained when I watch a wrestling match. I want people who can impress me to thrive in the sport rather than accept the dullness of one man throwing a cup of water in another man's face.

Also, on the independent wrestling circuit, a guy has to find a way to leave the pack. He needs to appear unique. He needs to be different. His wrestling style and character are what accomplishes this and he has to accomplish this if he's going to make it to ROH or eventually the WWE. But, yeah, I guess he should just stop doing the things that make him stand out and just, ya know, use a bunch of hip tosses.
