The begining of ROH was as far as I could go with the zany high flying stuff. It's cool to watch but I like bad ass wrestlers, not guys who I could take out in a bar fight.

So, in short Garbage/Hardcore wrestling is not for me and I won't go out of my way to slam it unless I happen to watch a bad CZW rip off in TNA.

These idiots are hitting each other with shit unnecessarily. And that's the SAFEST thing they're doing to themselves and each other.

Put one of those retards in the ring with a Regal or a Finlay, and they'd be BEGGING to have a light tube used on them. Give them one night of being stretched to fuck and back, I would doubt they'd want to still be in the business.

I liked ECW and a lot of Terry Funk and Cactus Jack's matches but, it seemed like the garbage wrestling of yesterday is fucking amateur wrestling 101 in comparison to some of the shit in CZW.

Sorry I should've been more detailed DTTS... I enjoyed some of the Cactus Jack /Terry Funk stuff too... But they go to far in this CZW shit... Hardcore is ok to me, I just prefer wrastlin' as my form of entertainment...

Again, even if you hate all hardcore, that's fine. The Japanese deathmatch stuff went over the line a lot in the 80s and 90s and much of it was stupid.

I think a lot of the reason I can still look back at Cactus, Terry and the ECW guys and still enjoy it is because they understood the emotion necessary to make the violence work. Terry Funk VS. Sabu at Born to be Wired is a good example of that. Yes it's grotesquely violent and bloody but, Terry and Sabu made me care about what was happening.

2) CZW is garbage

What's kind of sad to me is the knowledge that I actually ate Dinner with 1 of the members of this team.

I don't 'mind' CZW, I mean, I'm not exactly a fan or anything, but occasionally they do put on some good matches with some great talent. It's when they start mutilating each other in this death match tournaments that I lose interest.
