Danielson/CHIKARA show
 

Went to my first CHIKARA show tonight in Michigan. I went mainly for Danielson, but it turned out to be a really fun show.

For Danielson's part, he actually came out to the "Wild and Young" intro, then it kicked into "Final Countdown". There was a guy during intermission actually throwing ties into the crowd. So when Danielson got into the ring, all of the ties were thrown at him. Bryan even grabbed one and chased the ring announcer around for a moment. Didn't get to see the cattle mutilation, but did get to see the famous "Ive got till 5!". Bryan would eventually defeat Eddie Kingston with a small package after Claudio interfered.

Afterwards, Kingston cut a promo saying that regardless of NXT, that he was proud to wrestle Danielson. Bryan got the mic putting over the indys, and saying of how he was kicking Eddie as hard as he could, it was still PG wrestling. He also said that he couldn't talk about the WWE situation, and that he has no idea where his future was headed.

After the show, Danielson did do a meet-and-greet. And alot of people grabbed the ties, and making light of the situation, got him to either sign the tie, or get pics of him choking them with it. My buddy I went with was one of the latter. I just bought a 8x10 pic to get signed. Even though there was a million things I could say to Bryan, I only got out of how I agreed with his PG standpoint with the exception of stopping matches due to blood loss, and he seemed to agree with that. And also that WWE made a mistake and hoped to see him back on tv soon.

i wonder if they are going to let him use the tie gimic, maby all summer, if he is still useng nxt music an going to work for cenas dad. i bet he will get a big contract in wwe in november.

Did you get to see any of the Ant colony? They are pretty cool in character.

I thought about recording video once BD started his speech, but since they didnt want video taken, and I was standing by the ring announcer at the time of it, I didnt do it.

I also realized how small I would look on WWE tv since I am about as tall as him.

Did Gandolf wrestle Frodo? Poor Danielson. The fall from grace is pretty far.

If someone ever goes to a show again with him
doing a meet and greet, you need to print off the pic of him
choking out Justin Roberts and get him to sign that!

I was just thinking of getting him to sign the pic of him kicking Cena in my sig.

Though I might do that instead.

No idea if they do meet and greets but I've decided I'm going to Evolve later in July.

Would probably be the most pricey piece of autograph bar anything he has used on TV. A nice pic if what made him known to the non smarks
