Really TNA, Again?

Quote:

- Jeff Jarrett has been teasing “big news” on his Twitter account this past week. On July 3rd, Jarrett wrote the following: “Just received some huge news!”

Then on Wednesday, he wrote this: “Huge news is happening today and tomorrow…”

Later on Wednesday and then on Thursday, Jarrett posted photos that he called hints at what the big news is. The first photo looked to be a shot of an island and the second photo was a spotlight that you would see on a movie or TV set. One fan speculated that the first photo was of Staten Island in New York.

Furthermore, Dixie Carter continues to tease something big on her Twitter account. Dixie wrote the following last night: “Oh, if you guys only knew who I met with today….. You will.”
So what's the big surprise guys? Speculate at your own risk...

BigDaddyCool 07-09-2010 11:43 AM

They wasted money on someone that was good at one time.

OverTaker 07-09-2010 11:44 AM

You guess first...I'm too scared to.

screech 07-09-2010 11:49 AM

They're supposedly bringing in Heyman.

That means this surprise is Jimmy Wang Yang.

It's Jake the Snake guys.

Sixx 07-09-2010 11:59 AM

Jake the Snake vs Scott Hall in a booze on a pole match would be brutal.

MoFo 07-09-2010 12:08 PM

Abdullah The Butcher as part of the ECW faction

Greatest match in the history of <s>TNA</s> professional wrestling.

The Pope 07-09-2010 12:15 PM

It's Heyman, he's most likely been given what he wanted.

Rammsteinmad 07-09-2010 12:18 PM

Is this still part of the whole 'something that'll change pro wrestling' or whatever the big hype was a couple of weeks ago?

Y'know whatever the surprise is, the build up/speculation/hype alone will never live up to the expectations of the internet.

And if the surprise is a person, I don't think there is any one person that would truly shock anyone, except Vince McMahon.

VSG 07-09-2010 12:21 PM

With Heyman all buddies with Brock and talking about pro-wrestling needing to get its act clean, I doubt he would venture far from MMA at this point- especially if he becomes Brock's manager.

Rammsteinmad 07-09-2010 12:22 PM

I don't think it's Paul Heyman. Heyman working for TNA would be cool, but seriously, is he enough to garner this much hype? I don't think so.

Or anyone who is known for their loyalty ala Stone Cold, or The Rock.

But yea the chances of this "surprise" meeting up to expectations is just about as good as the chances of winning the lottery.

He's not his manager.

VSG 07-09-2010 12:23 PM

Not yet.

Favre4Ever 07-09-2010 12:24 PM

Spoiler: Jarrett is pregnant.

Brock doesn't need a manager. He is the face of the UFC, and is the highest paid of all their fighters. Why would he pay someone to get him what he already gets regardless?

Something so ground breaking could only mean the return of one man.

And that man is...

Wait for it...

Well when you can't get your hands on John Cena...I guess Black Cena is good enough.

The Pope 07-09-2010 12:36 PM

Rammsteinmad 07-09-2010 12:38 PM

I think it'll take more than Steve Austin or The Rock to 'change the face of TNA forever'.

Were talking about TNA here though, they have used that phrase for far less exciting prospects.

The Pope 07-09-2010 12:45 PM

They will start doing Guest Hosts too.

IC Champion 07-09-2010 12:47 PM

Is it that Jeff Hardy has begun a diet, because I just saw him, and he makes Matt hardy look fit.

Jakob Synn 07-09-2010 12:53 PM

Maybe it's Kevin Sullivan...

Let's hope not, especially after hearing one of his big storylines for TNA is having TNA have troubles signing a big name. I mean it could work, but it would be tacky. Especially in TNA, where they pride themselves on signing big free agents.

Wow, with Abyss saying "They are comming" maybe Kevin Sullivan, Zodiac and Kamala are going to reform the Dungeon of Doom 15 years later.

XL 07-09-2010 02:55 PM

Apparantly they offered Heyman the book but he wants the same kind of role that Dana White has with UFC. Isn't White the owner!? Not really sure what it is that Heyman wants but I would guess he got it.

What if they brought in Shane?

Dana White is the President I believe and the Fertitta brothers are the owners.

Jeritron 07-09-2010 04:43 PM

If Heyman is being brought in with full creative control and any kind of backstage power, then that must mean someone is leaving.
There's just too many components there already and someone has to be getting the boot. I'm not sure how Hogan and Bischoff would coexist with Heyman. They seem to have a fair deal of power and stroke.
Russo is there for the sole reason of booking, so I'd imagine he'll get the axe. Or they'll give him some token job and he'll eventually quit.
