<hr>

I know there's two Divas matches, but I really like this card. Could be a PPVotY sleeper if things pan out.

ImpactPlayer365 07-18-2010 07:31 PM

Yeah i convinced my brother to actually order so hopefully its worth the drive to his house.

Supreme Olajuwon 07-18-2010 07:34 PM

Smackdown MITB is more than likely gonna make a new main eventer (can't see Big Show or Kane winning), so that alone has me pumped.

SaskatchewanChamp 07-18-2010 07:36 PM

Personally, I actually see Kane winning the mitb match tonight. Sets it up perfect for the Undertaker to return just in time for Summerslam. It would put the two bothers against each other for the title, assuming Kane takes out Swagger later in the night like I am predicting. Just a thought though.

Schlomey 07-18-2010 07:37 PM

I'll check back in when I see a few blue linky things ;)

This is Shelton's year!

Schlomey 07-18-2010 07:39 PM

I just noticed this. The smackdown MITB follows the tradition of having up and comers to the main event scene (minus big show but at least this is his first) while RAW has half and half fully established champions.

Jeritron 07-18-2010 07:41 PM

Raw has 3 established main eventers/champions out of 8. I wouldn't call that half and half

Testicle 07-18-2010 07:43 PM

The SD! MITB will be much better than RAW.

Have heard rumors that McIntyre is winning it, which makes no sense because the guy has been pushed hard and still isn't over. Oh well, should be a good show either way.

Jeritron 07-18-2010 07:49 PM

I'm looking forward to both, but I think the lineup of the Raw match lends itself to a more satisfying ladder match/spot-fest.

SaskatchewanChamp 07-18-2010 07:50 PM

I would also like too say that, this PPV lowers the prestige of the Money In The Bank match @ WM.

Jeritron 07-18-2010 07:51 PM

Really it's about equal. Matt and Christian bring the experience and psuedo-flier to Smackdown.
Edge and Jericho bring the same to Raw.
Kofi is the big spot guy to watch in the Smackdown match.
Bourne and Morrison split those duties in the Raw match.

Black Mask 07-18-2010 07:53 PM

Wonder if were gonna start off with a MitB match?

On a side note, I thought it was a nice dig for TNA to get in a free ladder match 4 days before the opposition's PPV.

Very Bischoff-esque.

Testicle 07-18-2010 07:54 PM

Oh, the RAW match will have all the spots, no doubt, but I think that Christain and Matt will have the people eating out of their hands.

Too bad it was wasted in that spot.

Testicle 07-18-2010 07:55 PM

How is it a dig when you run 4 gimmick matches a night?

SaskatchewanChamp 07-18-2010 07:57 PM

If they start with a MiTB match, it is guaranteed the winner cashes in tonight, if not, I believe someone will cash in tonight no matter what. My guess, it will be Edge after he wins his MiTB match and Cena/Sheamus have been destroyed by Nexus.

Or see above post.

Black Mask 07-18-2010 08:00 PM

Calm down, wasn't takin a shot at the 'E. I'm just sayin I watched the Money vs Guns ladder match, which was a fun match, and thought it was 'coincidentally' booked before the Ladder match PPV...

Xero 07-18-2010 08:02 PM

lol "The E".

Volare 07-18-2010 08:08 PM

This is for my TPDubDub Crew. A fatty for tonights PPV.

Oh yeah, lets go Dibiase and McIntyre!

VSG 07-18-2010 08:09 PM

Black Mask huh? Coincidental then that the movie "Batman: Under the Red Hood" was discussed days ago.

Black Mask 07-18-2010 08:11 PM

I thought that's what the kids were callin' it now....

Good to know Stryker will be in the booth to add a lilttle.....um, good commentating.... because you know, that's what *good* commentator's do.

they just copied WWE at their last ppv. They should prolly come up with different stuff...that be the smart way to go.But nevermind tonight isn't about TNA,tonight is about breakaway ladders and bloodless cage matches!

Supreme Olajuwon 07-18-2010 08:14 PM

Dunno I feel like the sole purpose of having two briefcase holders at once is that one of them will lose their cash in match. If that's true, I don't think someone cashes in tonight.

Not if that Big Show Ladder shows up.

The loss of a cash in hasn't been done yet.... could be a good call.

Droford 07-18-2010 08:16 PM

Evan Bourne is totally going to win...unless he doesnt.

Droford 07-18-2010 08:18 PM

I wanna see someone cash in, win and then have the other one cash theirs in on them and win.

That would be awesome.

Awesome.

I'm currently watching King of the Ring 1997. Ron Simmons challenges the Undertaker for the WWF title. Good times.

JEPW 07-18-2010 08:34 PM

I'll be delighted if di Biase wins. Does anybody else rate this guy? He doesn't seem to get much of a mention.

Xero 07-18-2010 08:34 PM

Would Shelton have finally won tonight if he was still in the company?

I'm saying yes.

Triple Naitch 07-18-2010 08:40 PM

Yo where's my credit, Supreme?

If Christian wins tonight, then Shelton would have won tonight.

lol. That one isn't breaking. But I'd bet we'll get a ladder snapping in half a la Jeff Hardy on Edge a few years back in this match.

RatedGSuperstar 07-18-2010 08:46 PM

Just out of curiosity, was Wade Barrett's future WWE title shot also restored when the Nexus were hired back? Or did they just kind of forget about that?

VSG 07-18-2010 08:53 PM

It was restored and removed again if I remember correctly.

I think Nexus was given a 6-month ban from receiving title shots.
