Sad Realizations for Wrestling Fans
 

1) Cena doesn't exist for us. He was made for the kid who watches Degrassi and thinks Lil Wayne is the greatest rapper in the history of music.

2) Bret is around for nostalgia and more importantly... MERCHANDISING, not for matches.

3) The Undertaker's retirement is probably coming sooner than we think.

4) The WWE divas will never have a decent match.

5) Guys like Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston will never get the pushes they deserve.

6) Rey Mysterio isn't going anywhere. Consider him the poor man's Cena in terms of fan appeal.

7) Paul Heyman isn't coming back to wrestling.

Add more if you'd like...

8) It's not real to me anymore, dammit!

Instead of making ECW what it was, after they realized they wouldn't be able to recapture that old magic they should have made it for those guys who did have that "it" factor but would be lost in the shuffle of the bigger shows and maineventers that just would not hold the title again. People like:

Kane, Benoit, Lashley, Big Show, Jeff Hardy, Khali, Mark Henry, and Rey Mysterio. They could use those main eventers to build up the likes of Kofi, Evan, Miz, Morrison and Swagger or others vets that havent made it yet like Christian or Matt Hardy.

9. TNA will put a major dent in WWE's TV Ratings....and by dent I mean overtake WWE Superstars as Thursday's most watched wrestling program.

Kofi is getting the push he deserves. He hasn't been around that long, he's been US champ, IC champ, and has a great feud with a main eventer.

9) Bryan Danielson will never be a World Champion in the WWE
10) PG is not going away
11) There will never be a "real" tag division again, just the sporadic real tag teams here and there.

If Innovator wasn't still on his honeymoon high, I'd have some cross words for him right about now.

Old wrestlers will continue to hold on to the spotlight as long as they can, while the next generation gets held down.

Do you really feel that Rey Mysterio, Kane, Mark Henry, and Big Show are holding people down?

Well I'd rather have Christian as champ than have Rey even on TV. Kane is champ so he's keeping others down obviously, the others were just toss up choices.

Its a little early to pull the trigger on that assumption, wouldn't you say?

So you're just going to ignore what Kane has been up to for the past ten years or so because he's champ now? Also, Christian is no spring chicken himself.

I actually just looked at Wiki, and it turns out that Christian is 36 and Rey is 35.

They were talking about old wrestlers, and I don't think Christian is that old.

Hogan, Flair, Team 3D and the rest of the ECW guys.

Hogan and Flair are there for "Legend" style effect. The ECW guys aren't holding people back, they have like a 4 appereance deal.

But he's older than Rey.

He's probably older than The Big Show too, now that I think about it.

OK, Big Show is 38. Pretty close, though.

yea but the Legend style effect takes up about 80% of TNA's storylines.
