Nexus Question *Raw Spoiler*

Is it confirmed that Tarver has been kicked out, or no? I was flipping between MNF and Raw so I might have missed something.

Lara Emily 10-05-2010 02:31 AM

seems that way, Barrett said he was meaning to get rid of him and after the beat down he wasn't heard from again

Fox 10-05-2010 02:57 AM

That sucks. I thought Tarver added a little bit of flavor to the group with his gangsterchief look and everything.

Londoner 10-05-2010 02:59 AM

Well that's just great. Tarver was one of the best in the group. Next you'll tell me Heath Slater is going to become wwe champ.

Next Big Thing 10-05-2010 08:19 AM

It seems like WWE is going to run with Nexus turning on Wade for being too demanding and Cena being the savior. Such a waste.

Tarver is a loss. He wasn't the most skilled in the ring, but he definitely brought some fire.

I guess Husky and Joe are going to move in to Nexus.

Volare 10-05-2010 08:36 AM

I got no problems with Husky and Joe.

If that happens I'll start watching TNA.

Oh no, you won't: http://www.tpww.net/forums/showthread.php?t=107367

itsmeJD 10-05-2010 11:18 AM

The only way I'd watch TNA....is if "They" got lost and showed up on RAW instead. Tarver to me had nothing more than a look. His in-ring skills were ehhhh and without the face mask he was pretty damn generic.

BizarroKing 10-05-2010 12:56 PM

Tarver was just plain lame...glad he's apparently gone.

The Pope 10-05-2010 01:03 PM

He's going to come back babyface and destroy Nexus.

Just like Darren Young did.

:shifty:

Ultra Mantis 10-05-2010 01:13 PM

Would have preferred it if they ditched Heath Slater (), that guy brings nothing to the group. At the very least Tarver looked the part and I actually enjoyed how he was the guy who just stood there talking trash while the others did all the hard work.

They will be back as a team called Young-Ver and destroy Nexus and John Cena

VSG 10-05-2010 01:21 PM

Heath Slater may not look intimidating but he is one of the best wrestlers in the Raw roster.

Have them kick out Otunga, bring in Harris and Henning, and have Young/Tarver/Otunga claim racism.

Nobody would honestly care/miss Otunga so I say go for it. Then make Michael PS Hayes the manager for NeXus.

Splaya 10-05-2010 01:31 PM

I still see the group going against Barrett, but Cena sides with Barrett thus turning Cena heel

Ermaximus 10-05-2010 01:34 PM

They're going to play the whole do it or your fired thing for a while. Until Cena wins the rematch eventually. Kind of like HBK/JBL did a few years ago.

Savio 10-05-2010 01:47 PM

I think Tarver was decent on the mic

having Cena turn heel by means of Barrett seems like a waste. Cena can get heat on his own, having to use Barrett seems devalues Cena's worth

So I guess back to Macy's selling women's fragrances for Tarver

The Naitch 10-05-2010 09:39 PM

also how will they handle Tarver "reacting" to Barrett's comments? Will play it as if all the remaining members just kept it on the downlow from Tarver?

Promo starts around the 4:48 mark but Barett admits to wanting to get rid of Tarver for a while but couldn't figure out how.

Depending on if they use Harris and McGillicutty as new members along with Cena, Nexus might be going back to 8-member stable. If they keep Skip when he returns that would add a 9th member.

XCaliber 10-05-2010 11:15 PM

With Sheffield getting hurt he will be also labelled by Barrett as being one of the weak links heck there's enough guys now to build an Anti-Nexus stable between the former members with the addition of nXt season 2 guys I'm sure more will be used in the near future.

I Agree

Triple Naitch 10-06-2010 01:35 AM

Tarver did nothing for me.

The Naitch 10-06-2010 08:25 PM

I think they should do an anti-Nexus stable (ie. red and black nWo vs. white and black nWo)

but wait, didn't McGuiligully say he was gonna form THE GENESIS (stable)? Wait this is the WWE universe, things don't have to make sense

carry on

Original Nexus 8 - Bryan - Young - Sheffield - Tarver = 4

4 + Cena + Harris + McGillicutty + Sheffield = 8

:( still horrible at math. Probably kept Skip in the group then added him coming back as a clone to get 9 guys.

DAMN iNATOR 10-07-2010 12:57 PM

So apparently they went with that promo by Barrett Monday due to Tarver suffering from a groin injury. Obviously, whether they decide to continue with the "I've wanted him out for a while now" angle or instead have Tarver's injury remains to be seen, however, as long as they've already started with the Barrett kicking him out angle, it wouldn't seem to make much sense to change it now.

Perry Saturn 10-07-2010 01:10 PM

Whats gonna happen to sheffield i know he's injured, but if he comes back will he be in Nexus

The Naitch 10-07-2010 01:19 PM

this is the WWE Universe, we're supposed to forget about it

Snowden 10-07-2010 02:12 PM

Well, they acknowledged that he got hurt on TV and never indicated that he was out of the group, so I'd have to guess that if he comes back before the Nexus runs its course, he'd be in the group.

I knew it! The injury part that is. Watch his match with Cena on the taped show. He's noticeably hobbling around one leg during that match. I kept asking myself if he was injured but then figured maybe he just walks funny.

Triple Naitch 10-08-2010 12:14 PM

Sheffield is going to be out so long that Nexus will be long gone by the time he gets back.

I don't know. It's already gone on longer than most people seemed to think. If you include only the IWC, an average of like 50 times longer.

The Pope 10-08-2010 12:41 PM

The Nexus storyline is pretty dumb by having rookies take over. At the same time, it's probably the best storyline going right now. No blinding from urns, no people claiming to be demons, etc.
