Why is Cole annoucning on all the main brands of WWE?
 

Any reason given either as a storyline or in a news report to why Micheal Cole is announcing on all three main brands?

I assumed Smackdown last week was only because it was a new channel debut and being live but he's announcing again this week.

I thought it was Todd Grisham and Matt Striker on SD! I've never seen Cole on SD!

He was with the team last week for the debut and this week.

Well, there could be possible 3 reasons, in my mind:

1) Grisham and Striker needed some "help", maybe they weren't doing too good, and Vince felt that Cole could help them get over more and do better.

2) WWE wants to get Michael Cole established as the voice of the company, so they will give him alot of exposure on the 2 shows and PPV's.

3) WWE wants to establish Michael Cole's character (gimmick), so they want to give him exposure so that fans from both RAW and Smackdown know who he is, and get to hate him equally.

Vince McMahon pretty much confirmed reason 3 above.

I guess that makes perfect sense since it gives him more exposure to the entire WWE fanbase and not just RAW while also letting him evolve the "heel" commentator more than just 1 or 2 shows per week.

Because Smackdown wasn't vintage.

I get the feeling that there's big things to come for the character of Michael Cole.

He should be Michael Cole on RAW and Mitchell Cole on SD!

Read on Wrestleview.com that McMahon was unhappy with Grisham.
