Would a Team UK stable work?

The British Invasion? Team UK? Kingdom Raddical? :shifty:

Wade Barrett
Sheamus
Drew McIntyre
William Regal

They've been pushing UK talent as of late, I think this stable could work. Don't know what their motive would be. It'd be something they haven't done yet. Something original. The British Bulldogs don't count

Add Harry Smith into the mix as well.

Yea, this could work, but they have to do it cleverly. Not the whole I hate America blahblahblah. William Regal would need to be the GM at this point

XL 11-09-2010 12:53 PM

They should be called The Empire.

Cool King 11-09-2010 12:58 PM

I used to think that having a stable consisting of wrestlers from the Commonwealth states could be intresting.

Called "The Commonwealth "

But that's already been done now really, with The Un-Americans which consisted of three Canadians and a Brit.

The Destroyer 11-09-2010 12:59 PM

Sheamus isn't from the UK.

I'm not sure if that map is to prove my point or refute it.

As if a little thing like the geo-political make-up of a small island nation from halfway round the world matters to a company who promoted WM25 as the "25th Anniversary" of WrestleMania.

Prove your point. :y:

The Destroyer 11-09-2010 01:14 PM

Not quite an error on the same level though.

MoFo 11-09-2010 01:24 PM

Nobody gives a shit about UK wrestlers though, not even here in the UK.

CSL 11-09-2010 01:27 PM

More guys on the way too, Martin Stone starts soon, he's very good but might be dwarfed a bit by the yanks, Vicki Skeeles started in FCW recently, she's clueless but she's hot and has fake tits so it's all good, they seem to be quite high on Barri Griffiths in FCW, a bunch of guys had tryouts at RAW last night and I dare say Smackdown tonight, some good physiques/good guys amongst those.

That's not true.

Rammsteinmad 11-09-2010 04:48 PM

I like Wade Barrett as he is at the moment. What about if the other Nexus members started speaking with British accents and WWE can act like it's always been that way?

Cool King 11-09-2010 04:52 PM

Sorry, but there is no such thing as a British Accent.

What?

I guess you're saying there's no singular British accent, right?

Britain is made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, so you wouldn't have a singular accent.

To a lesser extent I imagine it would be like someone talking of an American accent, as if the only Americans talked in the JBL esque accent. (Which would rule, btw...)

I actually really liked The Brittish Invasion in TNA. Magnus was good on the mike, Williams is a great wrestler, and Rob Terry is big and menacing. I'd like to see TNA reform them because none of them are doing anything too important right now. As for WWE, they already did this in FCW (Sheamus tagged with McIntyre, Sheamus with Barrett and McIntyre with Barrett) and I'd rather see them doing what there doing right now

Yeah, I kinda know that. What with being "British" and all. I was just clarifying.

The Gold Standard 11-09-2010 09:11 PM

The only problem with the idea is you would have Sheamus and Barrett both competing for the World Title. Normally in a stable you don't have that.

Loose Cannon 11-09-2010 09:23 PM

Brutus Magnus is an awesome name by the way
