Chris Sabin kicked out of the 3D at the TNA PPV two nights ago and the commentators were saying it's the first time that's ever happened. So I was wondering which finishers have never been kicked out of?

Right now, the only one I can think of is Triple H's pedigree. I don't remember anyone kicking out of it but I'm pretty sure it has happened because of all the main events he's been apart of over the years.

Other ones I'll ask about that I don't remember anyone kicking out of:

Big Show's chokeslam?

Great Khali's chokeslam (I think it's called Punjabi Plunge?)?

Goldberg's Jackhammer?

Jeff Hardy kicked out of the Pedigree at Elimination Chamber last yr, then got it again on a chair. Warrior no-sold a Pedigree at Wrestlemania 12.

Masato Tanaka kicked out of a 3D in ECW.

Hogan (and DDP I think) has kicked out of the Jackhammer.

Undertaker kicked out of Big Shows chokeslam.


I think LOD's Doomsday Device is the only one not to have been broken.

Pretty sure HBK and Cena have kicked out of many a pedigree. I am going with The Khali Bomb.

When did Hogan kick out of the Jackhammer? Did they ever have any other match together other than the July 1998 Nitro where Goldberg won the title.

I think they were in a random fatal four way where DDP won the title in along with Sting I think.

If we count Show's 'knock-out punch' as a finisher, then it's never been kicked out of. AFAIK.

Nobody has ever kicked out of Kurt Angle's anklelock.

No one's ever kicked out of Orton's punt to the best of my knowledge.

AJ Styles' Spiral Tap seems to have never been kicked out of.

Only thing I can think of is someone (Benoit maybe - not sure why he came to mind) getting his foot on the bottom rope.

Not sure if that qualifies as kicking out, though.

Kozlov's "Headbutt of Doom". Not the trapping headbutts, I mean the one he just kinda stopped using as a finisher. I'm sure eventually someone would have kicked out, but since he's not using it/in a position to be using it anymore...

I don't think anyone kicked out of Lashley's Dominator move, but then he wasn't using it long enough for any big stars to take it.

I don't think anyone kicks out of finishers. They only get one of their shoulders off the mat.

The pedigree has been kicked out of more times than I can count. It's still a strong finisher, but in big matches it has been done. Just like everything else.
Pretty sure Rock, Austin, Shawn, Taker, Cena and others have all kicked out of it.

Pretty sure just about every finisher has been kicked out of. The strongest are probably the stunner, the tombstone, the FU and the people's elbow. They've all been kicked out fo a bunch though.

How many people kicked out of the F5? I would imagine it's only a couple, if that, since he was only around for 2 years and he was being pushed to the moon almost all of that time.

How many kicked out of Hogan's leg drop? I know it's been done, but I'm sure up to the mid 90s it was a rarity.

Sid did at Wrestlemania in '92 or '93, so did Yokozuna.

Hed actually have to hit it more than like once for there to be a chance.

I do think that is the biggest advantage Undertaker has with his matches because of having so many "over" established finishing moves that, like in the HBK WM matches, you kind of build up and it gets crazy when somebody kicks out of an "emphatic" Tombstone Piledriver.

Technically, how does one "kick out" of a submission?

You either escape, reverse (ie. Figure Four), tap, rope break, or have the decision reversed when the guy won't let go after the match. (edit: or pass out, like Austin)

Also, on that tecnicality, Rollermacka, I think somemone broke the Tongan Death Grip on that blip of a run he had in WWE right before WCW went under. Not sure though, because I honestly can't remember anything other than him being there for a little bit. I remember him coming out and it seemed to me like he was signed only as a "fuck you" to WCW.

I want to say Taker during their feud in 94. I know he "sat up" after Yoko gave him one at Survivior Series I think in 93 or 94

No he didnt. Jake never went for the pin, so technically doesnt count.
