WWE officials have discussed ceasing the "Spinner" belt as a result of The Miz becoming champion, reports the Wrestling Globe Newsletter. A newly designed belt has been ready since late last year.

It's gonna look like Jeff Harvey's belt, only with that train-front face thing Miz has on his trunks. And, since Miz stopped wearing the black and purple outlined attire, it's gonna be red and silver.

Yeah, while I would rejoice over the spinner belt being retired, the WWE has had some bad moves with titles recently. The new WWE Tag Team Titles don't really bother me, but did some people. They definitely could have been better. Then they went with the Divas Title over the Women's Title. Why? I don't fucking know. Oh, and they have had the spinner belt for the last, I dunno, five fucking years!

Basically, the WWE have been going with different rather than good recently. But I hope that they've gone back to tradition with this new belt. Might as well start off 2011 and a new decade with it.

Since it doesnt spin anymore, the only thing I dont like about it is that it says "Champ" instead of "Champion" on it. Other then that, I have no problem with it, but I also have no problem with them changing it either.

I can picture the Miz with that McDonalds belt now, and its a huge improvement on the non spinning spinner belt.

That McDonald's belt's base belt is the old IC title.

And I still want a title shot. If I were a wrestler, I'd rock that shit to the ring... FTW belt style. Maybe even get some sort of Mickey D's endorsement. Imagine Edge with a Slim Jim belt... then again, he'd likely have to win it from Mach, and Vince likely won't let that happen.

Who made this title and for what purpose was it used for? Guess San Francisco is gonna be pissed they banned Happy Meals :rofl:

Why is Jeff Hardy's face on the side? Are they going to change it for everyone?

Its their version of Austin's flaming skulls championship belt. When Hardy loses, the old belt will magically return. But this only shows that Hardy will be champ for a loooong time.

I hope its a bronze or silver one so everyone is PISSED.
