Paul Orndorff has cancer

Details are sketchy so far, but he was on the Busted Open radio show today and told the hosts he'd just been diagnosed.

Cool King 01-05-2011 05:48 PM

Damn, that sucks. :(

I hope he gets it all sorted out though.

RiX1024 01-05-2011 05:49 PM

Gutted, hope he beats it.

Isn't that sort of what a heel is supposed to do?

DLVH84 01-05-2011 07:40 PM

It's a shame. First, his career was cut short due to injuries, now this. Man I hope he's okay.

Providence Peep 01-05-2011 08:49 PM

This is very sad news, indeed. And can you believe Orndorff and Heenan, who managed him, both having cancer?

Anybody Thrilla 01-05-2011 09:41 PM

I was a mark for Pretty Wonderful. There, I said it.

Aguakate 01-05-2011 10:05 PM

Damn Cancer, man...

Yeah, they were a pretty good team, but Roma's dickery got him fired after losing to Alex Wright at SuperBrawl V.

XCaliber 01-05-2011 11:32 PM

That's a shame always thought he was one of the most underrated heels from back in the day.

Aguakate 01-06-2011 12:22 AM

Goes to show that you can be healthy-looking, fit and all that, and Cancer doesn't discriminate.

TheHaunted 01-06-2011 07:57 AM

I hope he gets better, Cancer is just horrible to go through.

crusnik 01-06-2011 09:58 AM

i'm sure that if Paul orndorff read these posts he would appreciate it.

ooTin 01-06-2011 11:21 AM

To Paul,

May you be strong, Live long, and have the strength to jump this hurdle that God has put in your way. You are loved by wrestlers and wrestling fans alike. We all wish you the best.

MoFo 01-06-2011 12:02 PM

Should of been Matt Hardy.

Cancer jobs to another Hall of Famer. :y:

loopydate 08-11-2011 06:05 PM

That news is wonderful. And, yes, the pun was intended.

Volare 08-11-2011 06:40 PM

Sweet at least that's one good legend spared.

Nicky Fives 08-11-2011 07:32 PM

not just wonderful, but pretty wonderful

BANG

Shisen Kopf 08-11-2011 11:27 PM

Well thats gnarly. Good job Mr Wonderful, when I was a kid he was my 16th favorite WWF superstar ahead of Don Muraco but behind Billy Jack Haynes

Rollermacka 08-12-2011 12:07 AM

WWE should do something Mr. Wonderful related in celebration. Good heel, solid worker, was willing to put guys over and had one of the best piledrivers in the business

He isn't all that healthy looking. He lost the growth of one of his arms because he failed to take time to heal it.
