When WWE goes to a commercial break for RAW or Smackdown, has a match ever ended before the break was over?

I have a feeling it has happen before but can't remember when or if it ever was done.

Could also expand the question for WCW televised shows even though late WCW shows were pretty confusing due to Russo's bookings.

I know they had it happen a few times with Diva matches. One match I kind of recall someone was laid out in the ring when they came back (I think it was Trish) and they did the whole "this is what happened while you were away." By the time they finished that up the next match was starting.

I'm more or less sure it happened with the guys also. Something like a hardcore match or a tag match.

Sure it was mentioned in the death of WCW, cant remember exactly who though.

I think you're thinking of the PPV that went long and got cut off.

I seem to remember Mr Perfect beating a jobber during a commercial break on one of the early Raws.
