Auto-checking on Microsoft Word
 

Is there a way to switch off the auto-checking on Word? I'm talking about the red and green lines that come up under errors etc. I'm writing some documents in English and German, and it keeps underlining everything because the language is constantly changing.

Go to the Tools menu, select spelling and grammar, click the Options button, deselect check spelling as you type
