Is that it for Zack Rider?
 

After watching Zack Rider make out with William Reagal on Khali's kiss cam awhile back, is his career pretty much at its best? I remember he was getting a push in ECW, with the new look/ theme, and catchphrase. Since then, he just kinda stayed in that lower mid card spot and has been for awhile now. Do you still think he can make his way up to main event status or should he team back up with Hawkins? Neither of there careers are going anywhere at the moment and the tag division needs more help.


Side note, Whats the story/ when the fuck did they stick little girl with the Great Khali? An indian giant, a leprechaun and a 12 year old girl.... yea I think that illegal even in Vegas

Nah seriously, I think its comedic fodder, but I don't think its at its best. Not yet. I think he's an entertaining guy, just needs the right person in creative to get behind him.

Honestly, I think when he was givin that gimmick he could essentually kiss any main event push good bye.

I never liked him, but I probably missed his 'better' days because I started watching again in 2008.

Ryder's been great the entire time he's had this gimmick. He has everything he needs to move forward except a push.

Yes, it was just a peck, it's obviously an exaggeration but that was the first time I've seen him on RAW in a long time.

I kinda like his personality but his backstage segment where Edge called him a tool was redonkulous :-\

Ih he's shipped to SD he may stand a better chance of being pushed but if he is to stay on RAW he will have to become a more serious character again or go the simple route and just reunite him with Curt Hawkins.

I like the guy but this isn't a gimmick that's gonna get a Main Event push.

I suggested pairing him with "Showtime" Percy Watson if they were planning on pushing the tag division at all. Two guys that love to party but get the job done (instead of jobbing) in the ring.

But thinking on it now...howabout Ryder starts a fued with "Ladies Man" Daniel Bryan? Ryder doesn't get what the ladies see in Bryan, especially when they could have the Z-Man instead. Cue bitterness and a fued that would give us some quality matches.

I love Zack Ryder, and so does the WWE. He makes it so easy for them. They don't even need to try and get the guy over -- he works so hard and is so involved in his own gimmick that he does it himself. The WWE probably wishes they had more guys like Zack Ryder.

The kid can work, he's so young, and he's already older in experience than what his age implies. The WWE has let him work with some of the top stars in the company before, and his time is coming. I bet his push is random, out of the blue, and has people going from "I think Ryder needs to be pushed harder" to "This is too soon! Fuck it! I'm freaking out!" Post-WrestleMania season will be kind to Ryder, I think.

Seriously, why isn't WWE jumping on the Jersey Shore bandwagon with Zack Ryder yet? Hell, TNA is doing it, but nobody cares about TNA, but if WWE did it, it would be the next best thing since BookerDust. If he had his "Jersey Shore" stable right now, he'd be instantly over.

As for the 12 year old girl with Khali, that was the actress from "The Chaperone", Triple H's co-star. It was a one night thing to promote the movie.

I dig Zack Rider, but he's pretty much a jobber to the... well, other jobbers really. Shame!

Primo and Ryder were actually on a winning streak for a bit on Superstars. I think it was like 2 matches, but that's pretty awesome for them.
