People are bitching about Rosenberg because she's behind the Twilight screenplays. Apparently, Highlander fans have decided The Source doesn't exist, because after that shit, Stephanie Meyers could rewrite the source material and not make it worse.

Torn on this, myself. I'd hate to think of the last film being the Source, which left a bad taste in my mouth. I know Highlander's sequels have never really been A-movie qualities, but that shit was...Awful. A reboot may not be any better, but still, I don't want to see highlander go out on that note.

Put more emphasis on 'The Game' and I'll watch it. Not gonna complain after so many flops. It's still a cool concept overall.

Also remake Queen's theme.

Endgame was the last one that had any redeeming qualities to it. Even then, killing Connor was dumb, sparing Faith was dumb, suggesting the rules of "the game" were just suggestions was dumb, the whole beheading Wikipedia was dumb....

The Source is the only other one they made. I mean, at least Endgame had good action scenes. This was like some film student's budget version. Mac beats the bad guy by running him in a circle until he drills himself into the ground.

I read somewhere they were looking at Gerald Butler, casting a Scotsman to play a Scotsman is maybe to forward thinking. Smart money is still on Sean Connery making a ton of money off it though.
