A CGI Final Fantasy movie will be released by the end of this year.

It will be a story on what happens after FF7.

I would've preferred a game though.

I've known about this for quite some time. Hopfully it won't be as crap as the first Final Fantasy movie, and tie up a lot of the loose ends.

Like someone else already said - I would have preferred a game than a movie.

Well, it should be good. I'm not particularly into the FF series, but I'm a sucker for 6 and 7.

Damn, I haven't played ff7 in so long, I beat it like 100% or something. I was so addicted to it, but by now I barely remember any of the story. Not sure that I have the time to play through it again to catch back up :(

I heard they are going to remake final fantasy 7 a year down the road after FF:AC comes out and do the same storyline and everything. But with real time voices and everything. I wonder what Tifa and Aeris will sound like :drool:

Instead of a remake, they need an actual sequel.

Well, maybe not completely memorized but I know the sequence of events and whatnot.

What I dont understand is that I thought Sephiroth was killed at the end of 7?

And I guess the question will finally be answered if Holy really did in fact erase human exsistence which doesnt look likely considering Barret and Cloud pictures have been revealed.

Do you think maybe technology is what was destroyed? Like, the planet knew exactly what was weakening it and destroyed that aspect of life? Maybe is also sensed bad people to eliminate them which wouldnt make sense because Sephiroth is there.

And this movie obviously has to take place before the '500 years later' bit with Red and his buddies.

I hope it explains if the human race does indeed go extinct.
