Now that he's done being Dude Love....
How does Jericho return to WWE, and who does he feud with?
Honestly since Jericho's theme's (titantron/background) have been computer themed, I could see it if the RAW GM's computer gets a virus and something with Jericho or his countdown show up. I don't think it will be epic as his first debut, or as hyped as his 2nd coming, but I hope they do something good like they have before. |
Debut in the ADR vs Christian match and win the belt.

Was he Raw or Smackdown when he left?
He should screw Cena out of the title, win it and take it to Smackdown, while ADR brings the other title to Raw. |
I'd figured either way with it being Jericho coming back and not anyone else, he would come back on RAW first.

Strangely enough I had a dream last night where Jericho was in the ring with the WHC over his shoulder. I don't really have dreams that are wrestling related so...I don't know.
|
Well if you're right, can you dream up the next winning lottery numbers for me as well?
|
Hes coming back at Extreme Rules in the Cole v King tag match.
|
I don't see Jericho coming back until the Summer, unless it's only for a few appearances. Fozzy have gigs booked in June and all throughout July.

So as soon as Orton gets another Title shot then we should all start speculating?
|
He doesn't and is happier for not doing so.

Side note, didnt TNA use Fozzy as a couple of there PPV themes? |

Give that annoying fucking computer the Y2J virus.
|
He'll be back by late July/early August to build a Summerslam match..... against who, I have no idea....

With Edge and now Punk apparently on the verge of leaving, they seriously need Jericho. WWE, I'm sure, would throw just about anything at Jericho to get him on TV. It all depends on if Jericho will want to be a full-time (or even part-time) wrestler again.
I like the idea of the "Y2J virus", honestly. Have it start acting weird for a few weeks, then have Jericho revealed as having hacked the RAW GM's PC, and Jericho takes over the GM position for a few weeks. Right there you have at least a month, maybe a month and a half of slow build. Eventually, the "real GM" could be revealed as a top wrestler (Triple H, if we aren't getting Hunter/Taker at SummerSlam), and boom, you have one of your top SummerSlam programs. Note that I'm working within WWE's bounds here. It's not logical, but in WWE it's realistic. As for Jericho's schedule, they could easily get around this by doing pre-tapes a few weeks in advance, when he can. And even do promos "via Skype" or something. This works best as the GM, and he can work dates when he's available in the states. |
Finally I had an idea that people liked!
Holy shit I got a headache. |
He turns up on SD during Sin Cara's entrance and when Sin Cara does his springboard jump over the ropes, Jericho catches him with a code breaker.
This post is 10% new material. |

And you should know. All your posts are.....

Yeah. That's what I was getting at.

I've been a fan of the idea of Jericho returning to spite Orton, and aligning with CM Punk for a reign of terror.
It could be everything Edge/Jericho was supposed to be. But the chances are the heat between Orton and Punk will have been blown off by the time Jericho returns. In fact, it seems like Extreme Rules will be the end of that chapter, so unless he returns in a week or two they would have to find another means. |

Well this thread DID have some class to it.

I don't expect Jericho back for years. Didn't he have a Fozzy tour lined up?
|
Just have him show up randomly at the end of Smackdown and beat the piss out of Orton or somebody on RAW if that's where he goes/shows up. He can open the next show with 'explaining himself'/showing off any new character additions etc. Have him be the same kind of heel only a bit more Hollywood, play up his DWTS stuff, appearing on all the chat shows, he's above wrestling, a bit of humour etc. Old hat but Jericho would probably do it well. Or forget the beatdown and go all the way with the Hollywood stuff and have an over the top 'grand return', like a ceremony or something, the big famous star is back in WWE, maybe get a few D-list jobber celebs to take part, a tidy comedic spot backstage with Miz where they tell each other how great they are, have him show up in limos every week, bring a young guy up/NXT guy (Derrick Bateman?) to be his PA etc.

here's an appearance on attack of the show, revealing a possible return gimmick.
