Bendis revealed the tidbit that Foulkes would assume the role of Retro Girl in an interview conducted last week on Sirius Satellite Radio’s Geektime.

It is the murder of the highly popular Retro Girl that starts off the chain of events in the first narrative arc of the Powers comic, which it appears will also provide the storyline for the pilot episode of this police procedural set in a world where superpowers are common. Foulkes will join a cast that includes Lucy Punch as Deena Pilgrim (see “Female Lead Cast for Powers”) and Jason Patric as Christian Walker (see “Male Lead Cast for Powers”).
